How did THAT work out for Serbia? Empty shelves and Yu-(DON't)-go-s to drive? well done, well done....
How did West Germany do? Did they do OKAY after the WAR?? gee, I D K...!
No wonder you're jealous.

SFRY was creator of nonaligment organisation, after WWII Stalin try to include Yugoslavia into Warsaw PAct, but MArsal Tito say to hem NO!
Like all americans you dont realy care about history of other nation and countries , other wise you will read history of SFRY before posting.
But you are right ,after these war its over Ukraine will get nothing from US, they will stay poor like they are all time from independence.
I know enough about history to post facts and well-based and well-informed opinions. I need not know every language or all the specific historical points of every nation to understand the "Big Picture" of world geo-politics. Nothing I said was incorrect with regards to Yugoslavia (or SFRY, as you want to refer to that former nation). SFRY, or simply Yugoslavia, was a conglomeration of many ethnic groups who were joined together by Marshall Tito and in the opposition to Hitler (and actual real Nazis under Hitler). The break-up of SFRY began to occur shortly after the death of Tito.
Just to make Qwert happy, I read some history of Yugoslavia. I will quote a portion here:
Dissolution and war
Main articles: Breakup of Yugoslavia and Yugoslav Wars
Tensions between the republics and nations of Yugoslavia intensified from the 1970s to the 1980s. The causes for the collapse of the country have been associated with nationalism, ethnic conflict, economic difficulty, frustration with government bureaucracy, the influence of important figures in the country, and international politics. Ideology and particularly nationalism has been seen by many as the primary source of the break up of Yugoslavia

Qwert has yet to tell me what I failed to grasp to understand what is going on. I see no need for the USA to give any additional money to any former Yugoslavian group or ethnicity. The USA led a coalition to stop the killing and episodes of ethnic cleansing attempted by the dominant political entities. Again, I assert that Qwert is jealous that Serbia gets no significant USA money and no more world attention. PERIOD.
Now, back to the main issue in this thread, the UNJUSTIFIED and BRUTAL invasion of Ukraine by the killers of innocent civilians in that nation by Russian thugs, led by the criminal and despot pukin' putin. The actions of some Russian soldiers offer further proof of the unjust invasion of Ukraine.
Russian troops in Ukraine are surrendering, sabotaging their own vehicles, Pentagon officials say
PETER WEBER
Russia's halting progress in its invasion of Ukraine has puzzled Western observers and analysts, but a senior Pentagon official told The New York Times on Tuesday that Russia's forces, plagued by low morale and food and fuel shortages, have suffered mass surrenders and self-sabotage by conscripts who "deliberately punched holes in their vehicles' gas tanks, presumably to avoid combat."
The Economist's Shashank Josh said a Pentagon source told him "with certainty" that Russians are sabotaging their own military vehicles.
U.S. and European officials said this mix of logistical failures and internal vandalism might explain why a 40-mile convoy of Russian military vehicles from Belarus has slowed to a crawl some 20 miles north of Kyiv, making it a target for Ukraine's armed forces, the Times reports. Other officials explain Russia's slow process by pointing to to stiffer-than-expected resistance from the Ukrainian forces and their surprisingly effective air defense, or suggest Russian commanders are just regrouping and calibrating their strategy.

Some Russian troops are surrendering to Ukrainian forces without a fight as morale drops, US defense official says
Some Russian troops have been surrendering to Ukrainian forces "without a fight" as morale drops amid Russian President Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine, a US senior defense official told reporters in a briefing on Tuesday.
The US official said that there has been evidence "of a certain risk averse behavior by the Russian military," in the last six days since Russia launched its attack on the eastern European country, CNN reported.
"You've seen it on the ground, where units are surrendering, sometimes without a fight," the official said, according to the news outlet.
The official said that many among Russia's military are young draftees who have never faced combat.
