I think that most Americans see no vital interest for us to go to war in Ukraine. Ukraine is on EU's borders and Ukraine is not a NATO ally.
What Europe, i.e., the EU, does vs. Russia is what sanctions and talks with Western Allies (chiefly, UK, Germany, France, and US) are all about.
I also think that sending weapons NOW to Ukraine is much too late. Many, including President Zelenskyy, seemed to have downplayed the likelihood of a Russian invasion. BUT Pukin' Putin massed troops all around Ukraine and it was not just to "play chicken" and hope that that intimidation alone was going to accomplish his goals. The signs of war and the rumors of war kept building and it seemed likely to me that Pukin' Putin waited until after the conclusion of the Winter Olympics to invade.
And Russians keep killing civilians in Ukraine. Thanks, saxi, for denying THAT story. Keep peddling your fake news.

Civilian casualty report In total, from 4am on 24 February 2022, when the Russian Federation’s military action against Ukraine started, until 12 midnight on 1 March 2022, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) recorded 752 civilian casualties in Ukraine: 227 killed (31 men, 25 women, 6 boys, and 3 girls, as well as 6 children and 156 adults whose sex is yet unknown) and 525 injured (42 men, 33 women, 7 girls, and 2 boys, as well as 19 children and 422 adults whose sex is yet unknown).
This is more than the total number of civilian casualties recorded by OHCHR in the conflict zone of eastern Ukraine from 2018-2021 (713: 136 killed and 577 injured).

These reports are likely LOW and only show CONFIRMED reports; many more have likely died and
1) their bodies are not yet found;
2) dead and counted, but the exact cause of which sides armaments killed them is not yet clearly established.
Let us be clear: Russia
A) invaded Ukraine with little to no justification or provocation and
B) has made war against Ukrainians.

C) The Russian military forces are killing Ukrainians, including civilians. Some of their bombs, rockets, and artillery have not been on target and have killed innocent civilians, as often happens in a war zone, a war zone that the Russians have defined.
Pukin' Putin has called Ukraine a Nazi like state, but it is led by a Jew. Putin is acting like Hitler, not Zelenskyy. Putin is the aggressor, not Zelenskyy or other Ukrainians. The blood of the dead are on the hands of Pukin' Putin, and of course, his military. PERIOD.
