A racial extremist was shot in the head in Peckham at 3am whilst partying, on Saturday night. The mother of 3, who in the past has tweeted " the white man will not be our equal in the future, he will be our slave " and calls other blacks that don't follow her views, coons and niggers.

The media here in Britain was all over the story of how this delightful woman was a target because of her views. However, it has come to light that she was mistakenly shot by a stray bullet intended for a rival gang member. So, now because the shooter was black the story receives no attention.

Note to Americans wanting gun control: we have very stringent gun control here in Britain and violent gangs can acquire them quite easily. I know that if I wanted an AK47, I could have one within a week. I'd have to pay a few grand, and that money would fund other criminal enterprises.

I think there is a strong LIBERAL (left wing or left leaning) bias in the media (most news outlets, print and electronic [TV]) in the USA.

(Most Talk Radio, mostly on AM bands, are the domain of right wingers and Conservatives. I am not that knowledgeable about online media; there are too many to characterize so readily.)

I think that most of the US Media have tried to advance the narrative that blacks, especially black men, are targeted by police. And they try to get people to believe that the police are full of racists and they are caught up in systemic racism. They also try to project the narratives that America has systemic racism in nearly all areas of life. Although there are indeed a few outliers of bad cops, a few of whom perhaps show racist tendencies, that NARRATIVE is generally FALSE. And most of America does not have systemic racism. And BLM has many black racists.

I would say that MOST are left-leaning, or have a left slant to them. The only major media that does not fall into that "camp" is Fox News and Talk Radio, which is mostly limited to the AM Band, as I stated earlier. I would suggest avoiding saying extremist things such as "every" or "all" or "none."

CNN and MSNBC are by far the most extreme. In the Print Media, the Washington Post and NY Times are the two BIG players and they are definitely leftist. Look at Watergate in the 1970s for validation there. I read about a book by a reporter for CBS (TV) News in the 1990s that said the vast majority (perhaps as high as 80-90) of journalists on that network were left-leaning THEN, and is likely close to 95+% NOW, based on what I see and hear on Network News.

They (the reporters, journalists, and editors) may think they are being fair and objective, but nearly all human endeavors are engaged via a set of values, personal biases, and perceptions. Even Science has its biases, but is tempered by facts and the rather relentless pursuit of Knowledge and (dare I say) Truth.

I lament the great polarization of politics in American Society (and now Society, in general) where there is a definite divide and there is less room for compromise, no attempt at building a consensus, and less willingness to do what is "BEST for the Country." It has become Party over the Country. The "dialogue" has become sound bites and succinct statements that are very partisan; i.e., it is NOT a true dialogue or conversation. Neither side is willing to LISTEN to the other. The US is being "Balkanized into different camps with little room for compromise and/or consensus.

I view myself as a moderate, but find myself pushed further to the right as the left becomes more extremist everyday.
