Nice! Did they make chicken salad?

Yeah, all the deli stuff.2dimes wrote:Nice! Did they make chicken salad?
But it all suffered from too much bread and not enough meat. Pretty much what you'd expect from pre-fab.

Re: Celery
Ever go to Montreal for smoked meat?
They stack those babies with lots of sodium enriched beef.
We popped in to one of the best places for them here last week but, they wanted just over $16 for a Sammy. I bought a small sub for around nine bucks.

Re: Celery
where was that, 2dimes? i know they're on the pricey side, but $16 for a sandwich seems a bit steep.

Re: Celery
Alberta King of Subs. It is under new management too.
The best part was the sign out front proclaiming, “No price increase in the last six years.”
Ok, but...

Re: Celery
that's the one waayyy up yonder NE, right? Temple, iirc? seems to me they did give you a good-sized sandwich, but it's not what i'd call "finest quality ingredients". def. not worth $16...

Re: Celery
The Montreal smoked meat used to be excellent but I didn’t investigate it that time.
I’m going to have to scope out http://grumans.ca/ one day. They are on 11th ave right by McLeod trail and another on Elbow drive.
Oof, the one downtown wants $16 for theirs, looks like it will be the Britannia location for me.

Re: Celery
I read somewhere many years ago that celery can boost semen production. It is one of the few food stuffs that can affect the smell and flavour of urine and intimate bodily secretions. I've been informed that celery has a negative impact on sperm flavour.

On the other hand, pineapple is supposed to be very good for it.BoganGod wrote:I read somewhere many years ago that celery can boost semen production.
