Many of you know me because I play CC from 2013 and longer with not used anymore older account.

This isn't the first time I have seen someone admit to having another account albeit unused, even thought the rules page clearly states:

Multiple accounts are discovered by routine scans and community cheating reports. They are strictly forbidden whether or not they play in the same games or are even in use. If you suspect certain accounts belong to the same person, please report it following the instructions at the top of the Cheating & Abuse Reports forum.

Can someone clarify when it is OK to disobey this rule?

I can't speak for why nemapredaje has an older account but I can tell you why I do....

I only played the bots a long time ago and couldn't remember my log-in information so I made a new account. Saw the rule that a 2nd account was not allowed so I told the first mod I saw in Global Chat about my original account and he couldn't find it... I know the email I used at the time had a fake name on it so my account probably did to which is why they couldn't find it and allowed me to have/use this account.

If you take a GOOD, HARD look at his last 40 or so games you will notice a pattern that kinda proves he wasn't targeting low ranked players.... Let me know when you see it

E, I don't think it matters how many games his opponents have, freestyle on that map is rough.
I don't see any problem with him having 100 open games at all times so that people could join. My issue is with him posting invites on tens or hundreds or walls and sending invites to those games.

What would happen if everyone did that? It's true that you can decline but eventually you wiill find people to play that and suck at it.
And like others said here: he was just warned so i don't understand what's the whole fuss about.

I am not aware and up to speed with all rules en regulations. your story is long and I can't follow. I have played games with you that were all fine. No problem there at all. I too have had issues run by those who run the website. All good. My experience is that they took time and effort to look at all the things that were being said and brought in. I have no idea about clans, gangs, mobs or what ever. I am sure these things happen as do a lot of very good other things. We are like little society. Politics will happen I wish you good luck with whatever it is thats going on here. And I wish those that need to decide anything clarity and sanity of mind.

Yes, anyone can file a report for any reason they feel like... He didn't ask if caff was "in his right"... he was asking if it's ok to file a BS report and I don't believe it is. Is going to the police station and filing a false report RIGHT? It's within you're right to do so if you're that stupid but doesn't make it right. Caff saw something he thought wasn't right and made a report claiming "FARMING" and linked 3/5 games that had no invites.

If you send me 2 invites to a map/settings I don't know and I accept...then go and willingly join another game you have up on map/settings I don't know... it's within my rights to report you for farming/ranching for the 2 games... but would it be right for me to report you for all 3??

Freestyle on most maps can be rough but yes total games played DOES matter because some of these games in question had NO invites or wall messages. People joined some of his games with no invite... said in chat they didn't know the map very well... and that's proof he was farming or ranching?? (not saying you said that)... but like I said before, people are too focused on just the games played and some of the chat in some of those games.... not ALL the facts.

Someone with 5k, 10k, 20k+ games has some idea what they are getting into when joining a game on a map/settings they are not familiar with... with or without an invite.

My issue is with him posting invites on tens or hundreds or walls and sending invites to those games.

What would happen if everyone did that?

Not sure what would happen if everyone did it but it's actually ok to do... if it's for a Tournament... which doesn't make sense to me.

nema messaged me to look at this topic - I have played three 1v1 games and lost 20 points - I joined knowing I had no chance of winning but, rather with a view of learning something from nema; samed as I have joined other high ranked players in 1v1 games; some are awesome with advice

Reading through the comments for this UNSCORED game I feel the comments between nema and SS should have been private, since they were playing a new player.

The original post that upset nema and king achilles commented on, should have ended it there.

Importantly, there is a serious language barrier, certainly nema does not always understanding the nuances of english and makes wrong interpretations; and does not use it correctly when responding, sounding very aggressive which I trust was not the intention.

nema best you foe the players you don't agree with and those who don't agree with you.

There is a big difference, I don't invite anyone to my Schloss games.Even if someone wants to rematch with me (whether they won or lost), they still don't get invite back. Reason is, my games are public. Anyone from top ranked players to the bottom have equal chance to play, first come first serve. This means, I have no way of knowing who my next opponent is and right now, I am in a game with a private who has played more Schloss than me, and he knows what he is doing here. Often I also find myself in tough situations, thanks to the strange dice gap.

So, what kind of farmer allows himself to be put in that situation, even more so with me, to create those public games? You are just confused and don't know what farming means.

I believe people have mentioned that you foed them because they win too much. I understand now wanting to play certain skillful players because their score undervalues them, but that is what would make it farming for me. If you don't, well then good on you. At least your skill is recognised whether you farm or not

If you are asked to stop doing something then stop. I for one dont like people who try to set up games to farm as it debases the rating system. Guess i should be pleased you havent selected me.

While people can decline/ignore wall posts and invites, the not-spamming-walls thing is just a soft patriarchism and that's a good thing. Similar to (in European law), default settings for e.g. cookies or newsletters favor the consumer rather than the company.

You are wrong again. It is not that they win too much, one guy who never won who talked as if he did, I foed. He is actually a bad player and it was more of a bad attitude that got him in my foe list.... & that is permanent. There are other reasons for foeing but these are temporary (unlike bad attitude above) but I can assure you, not because player is skillful. Such players are always welcomed because I enjoy a good war. As this has been discussed so much before, there is really no point to discuss my foeing policy further.

Hmm, not sure why you're lumping me with Caff and NSS. I've posted my opinion on whether you were farming or not, and also mentioned in your defense that your games would be difficult to fill the normal way. I politely thanked you for the invite to your game and didn't bring it up until now either. You havent been rude to me either (except a long time ago), so idk.

Here is one suggestion to advance site...to be allowed to foe someone to post on your wall or to send message, same as you can foe someone for game invite....

if you foe someone they cant post on your wall.. and you can set up a rule in your inbox to auto delete PMs from foes.

Bottom line... he WALLED people... and some joined, some didn't. Fucking stupid that anyone would call this farming.

Actually, that's exactly how farming is done. (Not necessarily the wall part... might be game invites, might be wall posts, might be PMs). If you take a complex map on difficult settings that you have rehearsed many times, your win rate will probably be better than 99%. Even the best players on the site will only be 50/50, because they don't play that map every day like you do. (Using "you" in the sense of the hypothetical scenario, not specifically meaning you the poster.)

But very few of the best players will bother you, because they have their own priorities on the board and don't often join pick-up games.

Most of who will join will be either:

• People who are curious, see the complex map, think "that might be interesting, I'll give it a shot." They know they'll probably lose, but the figure their chances are probably in the 20% range, not in the 1% range. They don't realize it's a well-oiled trap. or,
• People for whom playing games is mainly a social activity, who aren't hard-core competitive but like to play games with other people. They think, "oh this guy wants to play a game, yeah I'd much rather play with someone who take the time to post on my wall than all these other people who never talk at all." Humans are inherently social.

So, if you send out 1000 requests, 800 people will be smart enough to say, 'f*ck off', but 100 will join because they're curious, and another 100 will join because it's the friendly thing to do. That's a couple hundred people each losing 5 or 10 points, for a gain of something between 1000 and 2000 points. And there will probably be a couple in there who will win despite the odds, and you might have to give back 100 or 200 points, but you'll still have a net gain probably well over 1000 points. Enough to make the difference between a colonel and a general.

There's no great harm done to any of them. They each waste a bit of time and lose a small number of points. The harm is to the others on the scoreboard, who are working hard at inching their way up and just got leapfrogged. It isn't sporting. It is textbook farming.
