My problem is with the ambiguity of the Pyrenees Mountains. Aquatine can attack Leon??? I take it Catalonia can attack Provence, too? Really really would have liked to see the mountains shorter and more direct if the point is just to block Aquataine from Catalonia.

Superb map. My favorite Kabanellas map, even though I enjoy them all.

credit must be given to [player]Raskholnikov[/player], for his superb historical background research, and to [player]ender516[/player] for coding it all

Unless Im missing something, I think theres a small mistake though. - I have the Austrian Empire and I have Krakow (all of Poland actually). Its been like that for 50+ rounds. Krakow with the Austrian Empire should provide +1 deploy extra according to the legend.
I am however not getting a deploy from it.
Its a private game, but I can copy out the log if needed.
Am I missing something or is there a glitch somewhere?

PM me for an invite to Ikariam, a balanced strategy MMORPG centered on a city-based empire. Help and extra resources from me and an extra tradships and a small science bonus to both of us if you do :-)
Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Ver 41/44 [Quenched]
I believe they can't use Krakow for two different purposes: if it's already being used as part of the Poland bonus (Warsaw+Krakow), then you can't use it as an extension of Austria.
Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Ver 41/44 [Quenched]
Okay. Makes sense from a programming perspective. - Perhaps that should be included in the legend, though?

Hi. Can someone please look at my game on this map, and tell me why I don’t have the bonus for France? I seem to have all the spaces for that region. Thanks.

Because you need to get « Corsica » as well

Well nothing turned up in the search so here's the question. Hold Russia, bonus 5. But to hold all Russia, you'll be holding winter territories - minus 2. Ergo 5-2=3. Tell me it isn't so.

Not game specific, map specific.

The “-2” you are seeing are actually “killer” not a “minus bonus”, it means that specific territory will loose 2 troops each round, you still get the continental bonus.
Make sense?

Yes, if you left 3 units on you'd lose 2 - as a Russian winter would. Great, thanks for clearing that up.

Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Ver 41/44 [Quenched]
Hello,
I love this map! However there is a small issue I encountered recently.
The map states the following victory condition: "Own 5 Capitals to win the game"
I believe it should be worded differently, such as: "Hold 5 Capitals for 1 round to win the game"
In my recent game, I managed to capture 5 capitals against a stronger opponent who was close to winning. It was a miraculous victory with no troops to spare. However I was shocked when I wasn't awarded the victory! Other maps state the requirement to 'hold for 1 round' or 'hold for a full round' for victory, so after carefully reading the rules of the map I was confident that I would win if I could capture, and thus 'own' 5 capitals on this map.
I wonder how many other players have mistakenly suicided based on their literal interpretation of this maps rules.
Cheers

Victory Condition: Hold all display characters
Hold means keep to me.
Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Ver 41/44 [Quenched]
"Keep 5 Capitals for 1 round", "Hold 5 capitals for 1 round", "Own 5 Capitals for 1 round" would all be acceptable and logical.
The key phrase to avoid confusion is 'for 1 round"

Probably will never be changed, but in case you encounter stuff like this again: CC only has victory conditions that trigger at the beginning of turn.

Hey question for the map makers: Is the Rome+Piedmont bonus for holding Kingdom of Naples+Sicily not supposed to kick in when you have France and the regions of L'Empire?

Re: Napoleonic Europe 1812 - Ver 41/44 [Quenched]
correct, the bonus for holding rome+piedmont with kingdom of naples+sicily doesn't kick in when u have france. the intention is to prevent any region from contributing to two imperial bonuses simultaneously.
