There was no secret diplomacy. he was going to miss a turn and I was just saying I didnt break the leader because I thought he would, thats how the game was going. Ive lost 6 ranks in the past 3 weeks because this game is rigged.

i like to believe the accused's hearty defense and it is more likely he does not well aware of the secret diplomacy concept,
we can tell him that game related stuff stays in only game chat but no where else,
then move on :)

Many of the higher ranked users around here are notorious for walling people about moves in multiplayer games, and they don't ever get in trouble for it. What you have done is nothing different.

Now, my problem with the walling, and it is the same as the higher ranked users who do it, they message you whining some stupid shit about not attacking someone and breaking the bonus, and then suggesting that you should waste your troops and attack them to break the bonus, so that they can then come in and clean up. Like straight broocy moves. You know what I mean?

I have no problems with the secret diplomacy as I don't see it, but the broocyness would end you up on my foe list pretty quickly.

Yeah, Yukfoo, quit talking nonsense. If you see someone conducting secret diplomacy on someone's wall, then you take a screenshot and you take it to this forum to report it. If you saw someone doing that, and didn't bother to report it, you don't have ANY right to talk about it here. With 1000's of active profile walls, the mods rely on user reports. Without evidence, it's just a baseless accusation.

@jerrybringer. Saying "Hey, your turn is up, please read the notes in game chat" is the correct way to do it. Nothing wrong with walling someone, but you have to make sure that any correspondence relating to moves is written inside the game for all players to see, otherwise it's "secret." Like Mad777 said, You're not going to get banned over it, don't worry. You'll be asked not to do it again and it will get recorded. You know now what not to do.

It is standard practice among the higher ranked clans to wall team-mates when chat has been left, or to call attention to a game.
BUT... the huge difference is it is Team-Games, where you are walling your team-mate. In Team-Games chat between team-mates is always secret by default in the game anyway.
Also, actual strategy or the turns themselves are very rarely discussed on walls, for what should be fairly obvious reasons.

And if you actually see people discussing a Standard game, by all means - report them

This probably doesn't deserve a response, but I'll say this anyway:

Look. Members of Team CC are volunteers. First and foremost, they are players and members of CC. Their mod duties come second. When they notice something themselves, or... someone reports something, then they will act on that. No volunteer is going to trawl through everyone's profile looking for cheaters.

I know you're trolling us, but there are a few others who really do think that way and say things like this. It just irks me to see people who think it is a moderator's job to go looking for trouble. It's really not.

It is every member's job to ensure the community remains a great place to be and point out things that make the site less fun (like cheating). Mods just have the tools to enforce things, but they are also members of the community like you. Any member in good standing can potentially become a moderator, and that doesn't change the fact that they are still players and bound by the same rules as everyone else.
