josko.ri wrote:After having the record -89 points gap at one point, I finally overcame nibotha on the top spot (with currently having equal number of scored tournaments) after nibotha held The top spot for a very very long time.

Now the race is pretty much between him and me as third placed Untouchable has -102 points gap.

This achievement marks an unprecedented domination in official CC events where I currently hold 1st place in the Olympics both as individual and as Tribe, 1st place in Map masters, 1st place in The championship as Tribe and 2nd place in The championship as individual.

So, I hold 4 of 5 1st spots in the ongoing official events and one 2nd spot, which can be partly attributed due to dkmaster playing more games than me in The championship - Teams, where number of games per player per round is not equal like in other The Championships.

nibotha and others, it is now your turn to catch me on the top spot which might be very feasible because my ongoing tournaments results are not so good ;)
Eh your not top in 1v1 championships last time i checked or conquest ?

Hey folks, I'm gently back in business...tournament links & winners updated.

I guess within the time of last post and today's ranking things have changed again, nibotha took back the Top spot, followed by josko with 45pts behind, who is followed by _Untouchable (76pts behind 2nd spot)

Long way to go, Monday to be the 60th map going out.

Cheers

Two groups in a row (one in Berlin 1961 Rnd 3 and now France Rnd 3) where I have gone 2nd in all three games. I don't play a lot of 1v1 games so I wasn't expecting that. Really makes it tough to overcome against other good players. Any way to prevent that?

Thanks,

A short introduction before I ask direct questions:
Spoiler
To me, Portugal is the first map (that tourney was open when I learned about this competition; later I learned that Portugal is the 51st map for the majority of you). Then France showed up, I joined (somehow I missed Ivo Jima between them). Then Midkemdil showed up, I joined.
Then I deliberately passed over Bamboo Jack, Berlin 1961 and WWII Western Front, because I was overloaded by tournaments. I assumed there will be many opportunities to play that tourneys in their further iterations. Later I learned - what I thought were first iterations, were actually 8th, 9th and 9th (respectively).
Then I joined AoR1 in pretty inconvenient moment, out of fear that it could be the last chance...
I know that a map can have less than 10 or more than 10 iterations, depending on popularity. Now the direct questions:

1. Can we expect new iterations of some of the first 50 maps?

2. What about the maps 51-60?

3. Duck And Cover doesn't exist in post No 3. Does that mean that the present tourney is the first iteration? What about other maps over 60?

The lowest score: 1000
The lowest place on the scoreboard: don't remember

1. It has been stated in the thread before that there is no plans to revisit maps already finished by Mad777

2. See above.

3. The thread is manually updated by Mad, so the iterations will arrive in the thread when he gets free time.

I know that, I read the thread. But when I see a map with 8 (or 9) iterations - how could I know whether it's finished?
For example, AoR1 was played 8 times. Did you know there will be a 9th iteration? If you did - HOW?

I understand that. I don't expect BBC professionalism here. But when players see a tournament, they need a way to know whether it's a last chance, or there is a leeway.

The way it works is not based on amount of iterations but on time, each new map open on a Monday morning time stamp and for a 2 weeks lapse, so each Monday the next map inline open for sign in and new iteration renew automatically when last is full and started, when you log in, in the central command page click the event banner at the top and you should see available map open for sign in, after the 2 weeks passed and the last iteration has been created, it will remain open until its full, even though it take extra week or so to fill.

same response applied from first bullet point above

As Kotaro mentioned I do update each of my event manually on a weekly basis, usually over the weekend, as responded under first bullet point, use the banner from Central Command to see what is available still to join, I do believe 2 weeks is more than enough time for a player to found a chance to join each of the map going out, then is up to the player how many he/she wants to join based on personal game loading
I hope the above helped you and answered your question.

Not sure that my question is answered, but the above certainly helped a lot - now I can be much more precise in expressing what I need to know...

If I understood well, the above paragraph basically says:
Even the second iteration isn't guaranteed. I should watch the opened tournament(s).
If a tourney is filled in less than two weeks, there will be another iteration. 100%
If two weeks passed and the tourney isn't full, this is the last iteration. 100%
Is that interpretation correct?

Because of the score resets. You did worse than the other semi-finalist who didn't make it through so you took 4th place

Pardon, I'll continue my previous line a bit...

Though I'm totally uninterested in vast majority of maps, in THIS competition, I'd like to play literally every one. But not understanding the rules of iterating, I missed several. In the meantime, MAD explained the rules and from now I'll always know what to do.
However, there are three tournaments currently opened:

Madness, Duck And Cover and South America

I can't "measure" two weeks because I don't know WHEN these tournaments have been opened.

Even if I don't have any special rights, I am asking for a favor:

Please, tell me for each of these tournaments - WHEN it has been opened. I urgently need that information.

Thank you in advance

I usually just look every couple days if there's anything new in the box. Sometimes I'm not sure if I've joined it or not, so I click anyway. If I haven't joined it previously, good, now I do. If I have joined previously, no harm done, it gives me the message "has previously joined."

the link provided by shoop is found from the main event page here:

https://www.conquerclub.com/public.php? ... ent_id=101

you should see a link stating: Tournament Schedule

When the one before last map is starting I usually send a message to webmaster for the next batch of 10 maps and for him to code the schedule.
