2020-09-09 10:09:26 - katishere: i get the last laugh on that
foed the accused as a result of unacceptable rudeness through game chat, that is out of order
forget about it andrei, some ppl dont even worth to consider more than a second...
Yeah, make fun and encourage this kind of behaviour.
I am not in Bulgaria anyway, but that's not the point. People shouldn't say things like this.
I don't give a f^ck about that guy, just don't want to see this kind of behaviour around here.
origins of bulgarians and way how they had their times through more than 2 milleniums are well stated and put in sources to whom may like to pay some minutes to read.
i have got real life friends from bulgaria and romania
they are lovely, funny and easy going nice and kind folks
what and how i read from the game and its chat is, the guy got annoyed out of losing the game to you then liked to discomfort you through his words,
since he can not take/accept the losing,
he called u names to insult...
these words dont make u how they mean but perfectly depicth how childish, loser, immature individual we have got there andrei;
foe him and keep having your fun m8.

Reached for the 'Like' button, but we don't have one of those...

This is Xenophobia, not racism. The saving grace for him is that he didn't actually use any ethnic slurs, so it's not really punishable. If he did, and he got away with it, I'd honestly be furious. I've had people say similar shitty things to me about Ireland because they're uneducated and think I live in a poor country. But, so long as they didn't use certain slurs, you brush it off as them being morons. Put him on your foe list where he belongs.
But I do have one thing to say for the people making fun of someone for being white and reporting xenophobia. You're wrong. The words "racism" and "xenophobia" may be different, but the intent is often the same and can be just as hurtful to the person on the receiving end of the type of venomous slurs I've seen thrown at people. Americans might not understand that because they live in country where skin colour is a defining difference for bigots. In certain parts of Europe, ethnic background can be that defining difference and colour of skin doesn't always to come into it.
00:33:53 ‹riskllama› will her and i ever hook up, LLT??? 00:34:09 ‹LiveLoveTeach› You and Shannon? 00:34:20 ‹LiveLoveTeach› Bahahahahahaha 00:34:22 ‹LiveLoveTeach› I doubt it 00:34:30 ‹LiveLoveTeach› I don't think she's into farm animals
Or sex, or sexuality, or religious intolerance etc. It's really weird how CC's rules specifically prohibit racism and yet any other form of bigotry is just whatever.
Like Shannon says, try telling a Polish or Romanian person living the UK that 'xenophobia is not racism so just chill out' and see what sort of reaction you get. Wasn't that long ago that being Irish in England wasn't much different to being a Muslim today.

Indeed, this is true. Older Irish people can certainly relate to what muslims go through today. In the 90's, my uncle and his friend were held at an Australian airport as suspected terrorists purely for being young Irish men. They had gone there on holiday and planned to travel around for a few months while working on farms. It just so happened to coincide with the queen visiting Australia and they didn't even know about that. They did continue their working holiday after their ordeal, but that's always stayed with my uncle who's never had any brushes with the law in his life.

you think not being tolerant of xenophobia and/or racism makes you a sissy? wow look, you saw someone being racist and ignored it and carried on with your day, well done tough man.

+1 The fact that people think its not a big deal is exactly why it is a big deal.
CC takes a liberal stance towards what is said in game chat. As long as it remains between site guidelines. Saying someone is an ass because he's from a certain country is within these guidelines.
It is however unpolite and unnecessary so I'd suggest you foe this player so you do not have to deal with him again.
Cleared but to clarify, as with any other offending or offensive trash talks, we also do not condone for people to find ways to insult one another no matter how ignorant or prejudice you can be. This was "light" since that was all he said. We can not be always "all hostile" and take action to anything that some of us will find to be sensitive and magnify a situation unnecessarily. I'm sure you can find other better ways to spend your time on.
