I guess were I to tell my kid "There's nothing I like about you," that would be harsh (and also not true, even hypothetically speaking) but there's more direct ways to convey that something is a murder and requires top-down reform to ensure that it doesn't happen. It's a weirdly neutral way of looking at a person being murdered.
After the whole BLM thing started quieting down, American police have grown bored of no longer being in the spotlight and last night murdered another black man in order to gain some more attention:
Protests have erupted in the US state of Wisconsin after police shot a black man many times while responding to what they said was a domestic incident.
The man, identified as Jacob Blake, is in a serious condition in hospital.
Video posted online appears to show Mr Blake being shot in the back as he tries to get into a car in the city of Kenosha.
Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers condemned the shooting of Mr Blake, who was reportedly unarmed.
"While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country," he said in a statement.
In video footage shared on social media, three officers can be seen pointing their weapons at a man identified as Mr Blake as he walks around a parked SUV. As he opens the door and leans into the car, one officer can be seen grabbing his shirt and opening fire. Seven shots can be heard in the video, as witnesses shout and scream.
Freedom fighters continue to torch the US state of Wisconsin in response to an incident in which an unarmed black man was shot in the back 7 times by police officers:
The dead any dying line the streets of Kenosha as clashes between protesters and the army continued for a third night, following the brutal shooting of a poor black man by US police:
Three people have been shot during a third night of unrest in the US city of Kenosha that was sparked by the police shooting of a black man, according to US media reports.
The violence occurred during a confrontation between protesters and a group of armed men, the newspaper said.
Footage shared online showed people running through the streets of Kenosha as gunshots could be heard. Other footage showed wounded men lying on the ground.
On Monday, Governor Evers called up the National Guard to aid local police and imposed a night-time curfew on Kenosha. Police backed up by the National Guard used tear gas, rubber bullets and smoke bombs, protesters said. Some demonstrators were seen attacking cars and property with baseball bats, news agency Reuters reported.
"[The victim's] family believe in miracles, but the medical diagnosis right now is that he is paralysed and, because those bullets severed his spinal cord and shattered some of his vertebrae, it is going to take a miracle for Jacob Blake Jr to ever walk again," he said.
