MOTOGP (8/24)
This tournament will follow a shortened Moto GP season and involve 15 races.
Games will be 8 player Terminators on the maps shown for each race. Settings of auto, seq, esc, chain, fog, no trench.
Each race will consist of three games on the same map, your finishing position will be determined by your average finish over the three games. If you are the first player to be knocked out you will get 8 points, second player knocked out gets 7 points down to the game winner who gets 1 point.
So for example, if you get knocked out 2nd in one game (7 points), 5th in the second game (4 points) and 7th in the last game (2 points), that would give you 13 points, divided by 3, end score of 4.33
Lowest scores being better of course to get the actual race points which are the same as the Moto GP season, race winner gets 25, second place gets 20, third place 16 and so on. The top 15 places in Moto GP get driver championship points.
24 players, when you sign up, select a team to represent. The constructors table is there to help out in the event of a tiebreaker. You are competing on your own but you have a constructor team-mate who you are also competing against, the better your constructor team is doing, the advantage you will get in any tiebreaker. The tournament is not a team game, only one person is going to win so you will sign up individually.
