I this is a serious topic, well the favourite argument is the old meteorite theory, which I'm happy with since they found the crater.

Global warming happened, just as it is today. All the watter was used up, all the plants died. With no plants to eat, the herbivors died. With no meat to eat all the carnivors died. Then with nothing to scavenge, the scavengers and parasites all died.

A Christian I may be but I find it hard to punch holes in the evolution argument - it explains a hell of a lot. Same with the Big Bang - I'm a Christian but I believe the Big Bang happened. I think that God was the source of everything (the Big Bang, The Dinosaurs, etc) and that those first few chapters of Genesis are probably figurative - they're just an elaborate story of how God made everything and how man fell into sin.

if you believe that then you are not a true Christian! and the dinosaurs died i belive in the flood! there is no real evidence on how they died, some believe the Flood, and some belive that they were not strong enough to survive the conditions of the earth after the Flood!

No evidence? Wow. There are so many things wrong with that post. First of all, if you believe that the Earth (Just talking to g unit.) is only 6000 years old, your argument has already fallen apart. There are so many ways to prove the earth is in fact billions of years old, It has been proven many times, and every real scientist agrees with these findings. Also, if the earth is only 6000 years old, why is it that there are dinosaur bones found as recently as 65.5 million years ago? Also, the flood you're talking about is the one with Noah right? Well, I do believe that flood was real (There are in fact a lot of true historical events that happened which are in the bible.), However there is not enough water on earth to create a flood that covers the whole world. Also, the evidence for that huge flood is only in one middle eastern area (Not sure where exactly.). And if such a thing had happened, there would be a massive amount of evidence left behind. Now for what really happened. In 1980, a team of researchers led by Nobel-prize-winning physicist Luis Alvarez, his son geologist Walter Alvarez and chemists Frank Asaro and Helen Michels discovered that sedimentary layers found all over the world at the Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary contain a concentration of iridium hundreds of times greater than normal. Iridium is extremely rare in the earth's crust because it is very dense, and therefore most of it sank into the earth's core while the earth was still molten. The Alvarez team suggested that an asteroid struck the earth at the time of the K-T boundary. There were other earlier speculations on the possibility of an impact event, but no evidence had been uncovered at that time. The evidence for the Alvarez impact theory is supported by chondritic meteorites and asteroids which contain a much higher iridium concentration than the earth's crust.

I think both Colaalone and g unit may actually have been joking. After all, one is a known surrealist, and the other is named after a gun-totin' hip-hop band, so they don't really fit the creationist profile, if you know what I mean.

On the other hand, gethine's hypothesis sounds plausible to me. I know I've been fucked over by the dice often enough, so I can imagine how the dinosaurs felt.
