Greetings everyone.. how time flys by 10 years WOW.
My youngest daughter came in to crap on about something just then... something about how much garlic to put into making garlic butter and saw what I was working on. WOW she said, I was only 2 when you joined this site !! She goes to High School this year. (middle School for those out of OZ)
Got me thinking about the amount of time I have been dedicating daily to do something that I really do enjoy. Few hours a day yes... maybe more when there is an Event in the planning... and having a blast doing it too.
The people that I have met along the way, that have helped me and I consider friends have kept me here. Now not all on the site will consider me a friend, but I can assure you that I do not hold grudges, and all those that have to "Show this post" to read this need, to take a breath and realize that this is a gaming site that we are all here for the prime reason to kill each other in battle, and have some fun.
I would like to personally thank the Chatter Community, I could name names of the people that I like the most, but that would look like favoritism. Instead what about a list of people that I like to mess with... NAH would be the same list.
All my Clan guys past and present, thank you for putting up with someone that gets distracted easily, and sticking with me throughout the years. We have a promising 2020, and I can't wait to get into it.
MY 10 year Anniversary is on 25 January. I remember when and why I joined. In the past I played a lot of battle board games on the weekends with friends. Risk ended up being outlawed because we would all end up drunk and then the punch ups at midnight would end the game LOL I have an Axis and Allies board in my shed, (1m x 3m) and would take months to play a game. (1500 pieces at last count).. I wanted something instant. Google helped me.
So here we are. In the 10 years that I have been on the site I have never run an "Official" Tournament. Time to give something back and thank you all for the fun times I have had over the years. I would like to thank Mad777 and Benga with their guidance in creating them.
I have created 3 tourneys that are now open for joining.
Mad777 and Benga have also allowed me to offer a GA Medal to anyone that can finish in the top 5 in all Tourneys.
THATS THE TOURNEYS SORTED.. if you think that this is all I am planning... you suck. I have booked 2 weeks off work for this. Keep an eye on this thread AND in chat next weekend and further for more funky shit that I want to pull off, if I can locate and pen in a Goat for a time.

In the short time I've been on this site you have been welcoming and I consider you a good friend and brother in arms. May you keep fighting for ten years more. I'm a sitting duck in the maps/settings you mentioned. But I'm in. Put me down for all three tournaments.

Everyone should know he has been practicing his Baseball, poly 4, for a while. If you want to find one of them, just look in the pantry, last page (maybe a little earlier than that), and you will find them. I do. But then I also like the map. Which is where and when I first started getting to know you. Maybe I'll even join chat sometime before my ten year point. (Which will be May of 2021)
congratulations and thank you for giving us so miuch for so long, especially with raising a kiddo …. definitely amazing that with those as your favorite maps that you've chosen to stick around so long.....
I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when....

Baseball is a fun map and Circus Maximus just crazy. I've not yet tried a "Feudal War/Epic"....Which I guess is my way of saying...you can sign me up for the lot
