I'm sorry to keep whining, but real life has been really, really hectic lately.

Got a long weekend coming with no commitments, so if by the will of God I am allowed one weekend at home without some new crisis either at work or at home, I should get caught up on all four of my tournaments this weekend.

Maybe even work on the list of outstanding Great War battles...

Finals: Once all the regular games are done, the top four players will advance to the Finals. The top will be decided by:

1. Total wins
2. Wins as Teacher
3. Solo wins (where you manage to pull out a win even though your partner has been killed)
4. Fastest wins (sum of rounds of all games where you won.)
5. Precedence (first to sign up.)

The top four players will play six games (every combination of four players possible) and for each pair of games I will ask the partners to jointly choose the settings.

First of all, for the record, I won 7 of my 16 games. Slightly less than half, but still respectable. Thank you all for the learning experience!

Thank you all for playing! I learned a great deal in this tournament.

I'm really, really sorry about taking so long to wrap this up.

For years I loved to run tournaments. Really, really loved it. And then I lost interest, but I kept doing it out of a sense of duty. And then something snapped in me, and I just couldn't face another tournament. I'm really sorry. You all deserve better.

I know talk is cheap, and the world is full of empty apologies. I wanted to give some substance to this one, so all four Finalists have gotten a year of Premium on me, and not from my Department bank, but from my own personal money. I hope you guys accept this as my way of showing that my apology is sincere.

Congratulations to the four Finalists: ZaBeast, Stollmike, jfm10, and hjelp!

The non-finalists gets diddly squat but I hope you enjoyed the tournament and learned something along the way!
