Nietz getting banned

How ridiculous was banning Nietzsche for leaving those negative feedbacks?I've known several players including myself that have left negs as jokes then remove them a day or so later. He left them to all of his friends that he has played everyday with for the last 6 months or so as a way of saying goodbye. He didn't leave them to players that didn't know him or may get offended by it. I mean come on -- be realistic here. I think it was extremely hasty and unprofessional of whichever Mod that banned him. He should be allowed to come back and play at CC if he so chooses.

I knew he wasn't being serious and he even pm'ed me to tell me he planned on removing it after a few days. I can forward the pm to any of the mods that need to see it. Bring him back!

How long is he banned for? I think that it would have been a pain in the ass for the moderator to delete the feedback, but i seem to remember wicked doing the same thing. :wink:

Why is Nietz banned while other people are allowed to leave these feedbacks.... which I also consider: "Not game related"

I'm sorry, but none of the mods have time to keep track of who's friends with whom, especially since there was a complaint lodged by one of the recipients who didn't think it was a "joke". There was a complaint, I saw about 12-15 more of the same type, so deleted them all, which was a major PITA btw. Whenever someone leaves that many feedbacks against the guidelines, and it's not obvious they're jokes, they're deleted.

And he was not banned from anything but leaving feedbacks for a week. Hardly something to cry over. :roll:

honestly, if he got banned for it, than I say great. I just posted the other day how the negative feedback is getting out of control and needs to be addressed. I support the mods 100% and hope this sets a tone that this nonsense is going to end.

and BTW, It was not me that reported the feedback. I took one look at it and figured others would complain and they would all get deleted. I was right and im glad to see that the system in place took care of the issue.

I'd suggest everyone get their facts straight next time before getting in a tizzy over nothing, but then what fun would that be if you can't complain about the mods? :lol:

And BTW, judging from some of the responses on the feedbacks, it's clear not everyone realized they were supposed to be jokes. They certainly weren't funny if that was his intent, all he was doing was bitching about the dice.

And sorry to not be telepathic either and just "know" he was going to remove them a few days later. :roll:

I must say....i was like WTF? He got banned? but oh, it's just for a week from leaving feedback...welll no biggy.....I mean...sounds like he doesn't want to play anyway...so what would banning his entire account do? I left my buddy negative feedback....but it's a joke...i asked him....he knows it is...he said leave it there....he'll try to come up with something witty to say.....

Whenever i see people with bad feedback...i go and read the feedbacks...and maybe even go look at the game to see what was going on....see if there was retalitory feedback left.....you can tell that mines a joke....

I just think people need to relax a little...don't blow things out of proportion...etc.

I agree though that he should be banned from posting Feedback...thats definately abuse of the system...but doing it for friends? I don't know...if i didn't something like that i'd probably PM them all.....

And i miss Nietzsche...he's a great guy to talk to in gabbly and fun to play with...very smart player. I hope he comes back to I can attempt to take some points from him....I've taken breaks from CC several times from frustration...and am about to take another...down to 1 game now.....

PS. I agree the dice suck. Maybe we should all follow wickeds trick...see blow...i mean below. oops...typo

Funny, Nietx never even read my PM to him explaining the ban (what it was for, for how long, etc...). Apparently he just saw the word "ban" in the PM title and that was enough. BTW, the title read "Feedback Ban." This is the same moron who wanted his score reduced to 1. :roll:

he told me he was banned and couldn't play anymore. pfft--- then i apologize for the mixup. i now change my vote to ban him .

If he truly can't play anymore, he should let a mod know via PM or the Contact Form. There might be a glitch with the execution of the ban, even though I triple-checked and it's a "feedback ban".

Nietz told me he can't open his pm (31 of them). I couldn't care any less about the feedbacks, but again, we go to the same thing we've talked over and over... deleting post, threads and baning people without letting them know...

Yes, he messed up with the feedback, block him from giving anymore feedback for two years, but why does he need to be blocked from opening his pm?

What about sending people a little message to their email accounts saying hei dork, you've been banned for a year?

Of course, he could be lying... what about you log in as him and try to open the pm?

He should be able to open his PMs. A feedback ban solely prevents the user from leaving feedback, nothing else. All those PMs are the ones he got for those nonsense feedbacks (it's automated), plus the one explaining the feedback ban. We DO tell people why they're banned. :roll:

If he truly can't open his PMs, have him use the contact form to report it, or post here, or have one of you post here, and I'll reset/redo it.
