you have your normal GCSE's which are stuff like maths, science and english and some others... and then theres the subjects you choose... i chose art, business studies and history...

at the end of school i take a (GCSE) exam where i will be graded... im hoping for nothing worse than grade C

hope i answered your question :P

yeah... basically I guess that GCSE translates to "elective courses" in america, and we take exams too, except they aren't necessarily at the end of the year, usually just at the end of the semester when the course is over (and that goes for every other normal, "academic" classes too)

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? I notice you haven't put forward anything here yet.

oh and I have a little sketch on the fourth page...but anyway of course I posted some of my stuff, who do you think I am, backglass?

Bah, a great mind like mine doesnt need to check prevous pages!

well then, I guess since you won't be able to comment on/critique my work, I guess you'll have to automatically assume that it is just completely godlike and thus you can't complain when I critique your work :P

I was kidding, I did have a look, and yes I thought they were incredibly good. My favourite is the bee one.

I may be lazy, but I do get alot of time on my hands, hence small writing is no match for me

My dad always used to say I was a bullshit artist! Does that count?

I used to write a bit when I was in high school, but because I'm more analytical than creative, I prefer editing someone else's masterpiece to writing my own.

Dudes and dudettes, I return with gifts of my travels. My friend and I climbed up a huge hill in our area to photograph our town. What do you think?

Yeah, my friend and I decided to take a shortcut that took us swimming through a ton of cheet grass and prickly bushes, and I have proof of the pain. I think I may have to get those shoes replaced, there were so many of them...

A couple songs I've written not brilliant poetry, but with music you hardly listen to lyrics.

I'm a vietnam veteran I fought in the war
Was friends with other soldiers and watched their families get torn
into pieces as they died in the field,
for no cause at all, for no cause at all.

I wasn't afraid of no war
I didn't care what we were fighting for
saw all the destruction it had caused
and got caught up in all the friends i've lost

I enlisted to the army at the age of 17
was eager to kill some commies and fight for my country
I got all the way to tonkin and saw the pain we had caused
as all the bombs were falling I rethought all the flaws
in the hawkish attitude i'd copped

I wasn't afraid of no war
I didn't care what we were fighting for
saw all the destruction it had caused
and got caught up in all the friends i've lost

I won't be a part of your master plot
kill myself and help the country not
watch you waste all our citizens as you send them to die
all so you and your buddies can eat some more pie.

I saw her standing there
without any fear
she knew she had to be strong
when her whole world was going wrong

I will be standing here
looking for ways to comfort her fear
even though she doesn't show it

She felt like she had to save face
for her friends in the very same place
to help them through it all
even though her appearance was false

I wrote this poem in my creative writing class to express anger with the direction our country was going.. It has won prizes. The only piece of poetry I am proud of.

And Thats Just Wrong
By:xKyle Gottlobx
Dick Cheney worked with halliburton
While Tom Delay's indictment keeps on burnin
With little boys Michael Jacksons hand was churnin
And thats just wrong...
Martha Stewart cheated the stock market
The glove didn't fit so we had to acquit
Enron went into debt just a little bit
And thats just wrong...
Richard Nixon said he wasnt a crook
And Bill O'Reilly wrote an evil childrens book
Look at all the lives Bush's Iraq war took
And thats just wrong...
Sam Walton is an evil corporate pig
Too many graves the mafia will dig
By Karl Rove the 2000 election was rigged
And thats just wrong...
Bush relies on Condeleeza Rice
Donald Rumsfeld rolled the devils dice
Where's Dr. Phil wiht all of his good advice
To right all these wrongs.
Isnt it weird that all of the most powerful/ rich people in america are also some of americans most corrupt criminals?

I wouldn't really call it rewriting, but editing does involve putting your own thoughts into someone's work in order to upgrade/rework it.
