Why is this thread locked?

Evil Semp has locked a thread where we were having a lively discussion at the Positive CC Thread.

The discussion involved all parties and views of posters on the merits of perma-banning of paid members and restrictions being sought by a few on the many.

I see no need to lock a thread with lively debate.

I will try to keep moving the line in the right direction and I know you will try to move it back. But be forewarned I don't give up easily.
