To me the most suspicious at the moment seem to be annie and mandy.
But then this is a pretty good group you wouldn't think a slip up would be made this early.

exile and autoload said that we were supposed to be peasants, he agrees with this side of the argument and I meant page 2 not 3

Claiming peasant is quite easy at this point, but it doesn't necessarily make it a lie...

I recall that moz was kind of upset that a bunch of peasant info got out on day 2, so unless he's playing a deeper game, I'm at least somewhat less suspicious of him.

So, for the moment, I propose that we set moz aside and perhaps focus our attentions on red bull or talapus, the former due to the fact that we still don't know much about him and the fact that he was (after having reread my notes) close-ish to the hit on tonka, the latter because GB was such a dastardly submariner...

Man, I don't know. I want to believe moz is guilty, but at the same time I can understand where he would be coming from if innocent. Must weigh in on this some more.

I'm with ya... I was pretty damn convinced that it was moz (partly because, if he is indeed mafia, he's slow-playing like I have a tendency to do when I'm the bad guy), but his peasant roleclaim really resonates with his shit back at the end of day 2. If he'd claimed noble, he'd be tree-branch-swinging as we speak, but I'm inclined to believe him.

So... I feel like a good steak. Perhaps we should sacrifice a bull.

As far as i can remember correctly, peasants have the option to switch to mafia at the end of the day. Even if moz's role claim is true, he could have switched to the other side in the last 3-4 game days. On top of that i have a tendency not to believe him due to his playing style: not posting much, always trying to turn the attention to somewhere else (even in his last post he tried to bring attention back to the already discussed cult theory). For me these are signs of a clever mafia tactic.

My vote stays.

I've never played with him, so I can't speak on behalf of his playing style. But he still seems scummy. Earlier he posted this:

Talapus wrote:However, I gotta say moz is looking pretty good right now because it appears he's just casually trying to change topics, but not openly defend himself. I think he's being somewhat sly with trying to swing the vote away from him and I think the above theory is the best one we have right now.

Well unfortunately as a peasant I really don't have much of a defense to lay out. This is as far as I've ever gone being a townie so I'm pretty proud of that . At least after my death the town should still have the numbers to find some real mafia. I just hope there isn't a cult because every night that you let the leader live is another member of the cult added to their group.

Now I find it odd that you came on to defend yourself against half of the accusation against you. But, you only defended yourself against the last half that I posted. Why edit out the first half of my quote which states:

Talapus wrote:Alright, I know I'm joining the game towards the end. But I'll still do my best to contribute. Alright, first off I think it rather suspicious that the next time we hear from moz is right after Incandenza'a theory. You just kinda came from nowhere to post a theory of your own that points conveniently away from you. And although I think pancake could be on to something, I don't thinks it's as strong a lead right now as you are.

Not only did you not respond, you didn't repost it at all. Which is fine, except for the fact that you just chose one part of the accusation to defend yourself against.
You may not be used to doing much to defend yourself, but you have to do better then this to convince me.
My vote stays as well...if you truely are a peasent then as you stated, we have options even after your death. But I don't think you are...

Well Talapus as you said you haven't played with me before I cut some of the quote to limit the clutter and make it easier to read not to avoid points. I posted right after Incandenza because I had just gotten back from the weekend and I figured his post warranted a response.

I'm really not sure where to vote right now I think that we need to do some more talking first. We have quite a few new people to the game and some others that aren't contributing much except to vote.

I completely agree with that point and thank you for the response. Really, that's all I was looking for. Any defense is better then nothing.

Aimless, we do seem to have a few players not contributing anything at this point. Ideas?

Sadly, this is true. :(

So, I'm going to once again impose a deadline in order to move things along.

The deadline for Day 6 is 72 hours from this post.

Looking back at the thread I don't see anything that I can reveal that either you or pancake hasn't already said.

I guess I can say that my color is green. Hopefully that will help you see that I am what I say I am.
