No doubt smashed, but depending on how strong the absinthe is would make a big difference.
I did a quick search and according to Google it can be somewhere between 50-70% ABV. If we assume 50%, that's about the equivalent amount of pure ethanol as in that fifth of Jack Daniels.

I drank a fair amount of it years ago in a foolhardy attempt to see the hallucinations one supposedly gets from its intoxication.
I didn't think it had worked until I saw who I woke up next to.

I found the dreams I would have when I was on tren ace were like hallucinations. Truly frightening stuff....if you wanted to hallucinate run some of that, have six/eight drinks and take melatonin...

that sounds terrifying, I'll stay away from the roids and enjoy my cake

I guess being diabetic that means I'll have to take the roids.

TOFU and FOED have decided to void the results of this challenge in favour of facing off in a drinking challenge this October in Bavaria.
The Cup will be postponed until further notice.
Well now that is good news.
But Oktoberfest is highly overrated and I wouldn't really want to go again.
How about you all just come to Greece and we'll go party on the beach in Mykonos?

Chariot of Fire wrote:iAmCaffeine wrote:Is there actually anyone in FOED who could 24 shots of absinthe?
I think Conchobar is Irish, so probably has it for breakfast.
No no, I drink whiskey in my coffee and pour Guinness on my cereal, obviously.
Absinth comes in red, green or black. 60%, 70% and 80 feckin percent!!
One shot of the black stuff and you'll be buzzin for a couple of hours.
Which makes for a pretty cheap night out, actually.

I stay away now, but before I had a family lifting used to be my whole world. I still lift, but I've been natty for a long time. I still don't eat cake though (although I do love me some ice cream from time to time).

Sounds like a plan

That's good, because anyone who prefers cake over ice cream needs an intervention. Ice cream definitely takes the "cake" for me too
Is it normal that I had no clue what you meant by "natty" and my first instinct had to do with natty light

Yeah the hardcore gym has its own language. It’s weird subculture.
I had to take my daughter and her friend to a four hour birthday party 50 minutes away from my house yesterday, so what do I do? I buy a day pass at a gym and spend three hours training. It hurts to move my legs today but it’s a good hurt. It’s something only MTIceman or Loutil on CC would understand.

Never tried it, probably never will. I've always preferred savoury to sweet. Bear in mind you're talking to a type 1 diabetic.

I think none of you know what a real good cake is, that's the only reason why you could be saying such non-sense like ice cream is better than cake, or cake are overrated.
But well, since you come from countries with low gastronomical standard I guess it is understandable.

@ Rock, I would imagine I haven't had sore muscles like that ever, though I am keenly aware of the day or two after first day of weightlifting in high school after summer break where I felt as if I was walking on 2x4s
@ catnip, most definitely - dark chocolate >>> any other form, no questions asked
@ IP, for reals though, #ICECREAMCAKEFOREVERANDALWAYS
@ Don, I've had several extraordinary cakes in my day, and I admit they are better than ice cream. But for me it isn't as often. I live in the middle of the United States... here we are proficient at eating fast food... so you have to give me some wiggle room since I have yet to experience the gastronomical expertise of France

My partner is a pastry chef in a hotel. She is forever bringing cakes home or baking them here. I'm so sick of cake I've developed a twitch when someone mentions "Kids birthday party".
If the host provides ice cream cake however I'm in like a jack rabbit! I once ate a Baked Alaska for eight people, such is my passion for ice cream.

I once was on a 5,500 calorie a day "diet," when I was bulking up from 235 to 270. For reference, anyone can eat 5,500 calories on Thanksgiving or on some special occasion for one day...this was months of eating that much every day...I sometimes had to force feed myself.
What is 5,500 calories? Not that you'd ever do it this way but its roughly any of the following: 16 cups of salted in the shell peanuts, 7 double quarter pound cheeseburgers from McDonalds, 4 Tombstone Pepperoni Pizzas, or 79 medium eggs...but all of those things are high in fat, which has 9 calories per gram versus protein or carbs which have 4 calories per gram. If you ate chicken breasts which are higher in protein you'd need to eat 18-19 medium ones or if you preferred to drink it, it would be roughly 86 Miller 64 Beers (why anyone would drink that beer is beyond me though). I was trying to get at least 325 grams of protein a day during this experience. Glad I live a somewhat normal life now.

The one cake I'll always die for though is my step mum's coffee cake. Oh man.

I´m, fine, thanks, hope you guys are good too?
This seems to be fun indeed, already checked your map/settings choice, good job on that, finally skipping those standard maps^^
So the gang is still active and enjoying the action, good to see
After moving to another town i found a new board game to enjoy during the last days, which i consider more fun than risk, but that probably depends on the point of view
But to stay enjoy on topic (FOED might hate it when a page is filled by talking to a ghost from the past), good luck everybody, have a good war here
