V17 Congestion relieved
OK....version 17.....frees up some areas and makes them less cramped. Some areas aroudn the dock are unable to be freed unless one gets rid of some of the vessels. This should make it less congested.

Good idea. It is a little much to take in at first. My biggest gripe is that the circle for Tennessee ship is really confusing. It looks like it's a land territory at first glance. Can you move the circle over the battleship? Same with Maryland..the circle is too far away from the ship. Swan's circle is hovering over the island partially as well. Also, maybe make the connection between Runway A and Tennessee a little clearer? Otherwise, I dig the graphics a lot. Nicely done.

V18 Updates
Well....there are a few changes from the posts above on this page.
* Font change to the destructions
* Addition of One-way attack arrows on the map in the destructions
* re-arrangement of Ford Island slightly to add two (2) one-way attack routes
* lots of movement of the deck chairs on the Titanic
* and increase in size of the blue connection lines between vessels on water.

I have taken into account and I believe your above have been attended to in V18 above.

Sorry you have this confusion...to this end i have increased the size of the blue attack lines between vessels on water....hope that helps someway to alleviate your issue. If you study the map, your find the lines of attack for defense...like Pearl Harbor, they are all over the place. This is NOT an easy map, i will give your that.

I really don't want to get rid of the oil tap for the following reasons:
* I agree that this area of the map certainly does not play like the rest with aircraft attacking.
* On v17, there is another one-way attack route happening from the Oklahoma to K6 and then onto Oil tank H, and this has been retained on V18.
* I think it is quite conceivable that there would have been oil tapes and pipelines in Pearl Harbor feeding down to the Navy Yard. As such one might expect that the oil would flow one-way and be controlled by the District HQ....i don't think that is an unreasonable play.
* So that oil tap fits much better with the style of play, i have added two more one-way land routes on Ford Island....you will notice the changes there.
* Also there are now indicators in the legend to show the various one-way attack arrows.
* I had previously deleted buildings on the map in the Navy yard area to free up some of the graphic details that the eye had to take in...so I thought it would not be conducive to add more buildings in that area to replace the oil tap.
* There was a previous call from another player several pages back to add an oil pipeline and I thought that was a jolly good idea.
* Having the oil tap i think enhances play in this area of the map, as otherwise it would possibly be very normal attacking situations and somewhat mundane.
I hope this addresses your concern, and i'm pleased your are finding the map "looking good".

ok mate , its just the oil trap looks odd there thats all....I can imagine there being an oil trap and it moree than likely being targeted by the Japenese for attack.......
I prefer to see the attack lines a different colour other than white.....
For example if its a boat v boat attack it could be black.
A aeroplane v boat attack red.
Its up to you really just a suggestion

You don't seem consistand with the shades, offcourse planes can be on different altitudes, seeing it is a torpedo-bomber, they will fly low during attacks, thus make the shades come closer to the planes, which in return less clutters the landscape around them.

Again a little bit uncosistant with the shades, they are the fighters of the Japanese Airforce, thus staying high up on this attack seeing not many american aircraft got up, and a Zero attacking a ship doesn't happen that often (blame me for being wrong, if I am)

What do you mean with UP/PP Hangers? (did I miss something in the discussions?)
Bonus may be just 6, you need 4 territories to keep the whole bonus and get to shoot on alot of the planes!!

Seeing we have Torpedo-bombers, why no Dice-bombers too? you can keep the image, but bump them on the bonus list thou, namely because they are named Val. Them being Dive-Bombers makes the position of B1 very nice, perhaps do the same to the others?

Perhaps cars instead of a tennis court by the Officers Club?
