Tie breaker in tournament?

Post by Man from Modesto »

About to finish a tournament. There is a chance two players will finish with 3 points.

How is the winner decided? Fastest wins? Most eliminations Of other players in final round? Most troops in won games?

Ties in Score shall be broken by the following rules, applied in order:
Percentage of wins in the tournament as a whole
The cumulative number of Game rounds required to win the games they have won in the tournament (since the last point reset, or the start of the tournament if no point reset has occurred). Note: winning in less rounds is better.
The order in which the player joined the tournament (first player to join wins)

Auto tournament or community tournament? Could be very different answers...

Weird case here https://www.conquerclub.com/player.php? ... nt_id=6761
I was in first place with one game to go (tied with another player that had the same number of points as me), and the tie-breaker was the same for both of us. Then I lost that game (not to the player now 1st, he was already eliminated) and for some reason the tie-breaker you get when you hover over the score is not the same anymore (for me it is 0.2758700252 and for him, 0.2758700550, wherever those number come from), even if the total number of rounds needed to win was the same in both cases.
So my questions are
1) why would the numerical tie-breaker change with a loss (we both had the same tie-breaker before that, if I recall correctly it was showing as 0.2758700550)
2) why is it a different value if the games were won in the same total number of rounds? (I don't know who joined first, but I don't see how the numerical tie-breaker you get when hovering on top of your score would be taking that into account)
I won in Game 18214929 (6 rounds) Game 18214932 (6 rounds) Game 18214931 (12 rounds) Game 18214930 (9 rounds) Game 18248242 (8 rounds) Game 18248243 (10 rounds) Game 18269642 (30 rounds) Game 18401268 (21 rounds) Game 18401264 (23 rounds) (total:125 rounds)
He won in Game 18214940 (10 rounds) Game 18214938 (10 rounds) Game 18214937 (9 rounds) Game 18248246 (7 round) Game 18248245 (7 round) Game 18248244 (6 round) Game 18269641 (30 rounds) Game 18401266 (23 rounds) Game 18401265 (23 rounds) (total:125 rounds)

Can’t really say about that number but the 3rd tie condition is joining the tournament, I guess he joined it before you therefore he won the 3rd tie condition.
