Perhaps this has already been asked, but...

How many total people are playing in this tournament? The scoreboard shows the top 50, but out of how many total?

Could that total be put on the scoreboard somewhere, please?

I wish I knew. Several hundred, anyway. There is, unfortunately, no easy way to count how many unique individuals have signed up for one or more of these tournaments.

There's no doubt that josko is one of the best players on the site. Unfortunately, most of the other players in his league hide in their clan ivory tower and don't participate in public events.

Still, at the moment josko is in second place. Good job, boow!!! =D>

Boow was ahead of him only briefly, but a couple more have ended since then and josko is back in front.

Not to mention, if you do something josko doesn't like he'll do whatever he can to have you punished and the mods that always take his side will help him do that.

I thought I was doing pretty good. 61 points out of 3 tournaments done. I'm still not on the scoreboard. Somebody could already have 10 tournaments done, so it's really hard to know how I'm doing compared to the pack.

Scoreboards for all events should show Top ____ (whatver number they use for that event) + one additional line to show your own personal ranking.

So: “Top 20”
1
2
3
4
5
6....etc
20
# = you (unless you’re Top 20 then this is blank/doesn’t show)

That way if there’s an event with 600 people, you can find out whether you are 25th and close, or 599th and not worth it

A good idea once again.

Yeah, I'll be talking to BW pretty soon about expanding the scoreboard.

Six tourneys done. Average points 27. Win rate in entire comp 242 out of 369. Average position in remaining 5th. Ok but probably not good enough.

Fifth is nothing to sneeze at. Blue star, 1000 credits, and Event Silver.

Is there a way to show on the scoreboard how many tournaments each person has completed, along with the score?

A few announcements.

First, the list of tournaments was overflowing the 200-link limit that the forum software imposes on us. Thus, we have split up the list which originally resided in Post One into three different posts. Here are the links, but don't worry -- they are also provided in Post One for easy look-up.

Complete list of component tournaments and winners: Follow these links to see detailed lists of the individual tournaments each week, including the winners of completed tournaments.
List 1: Alabama to Louisiana
List 2: Maine to Oklahoma
List 3: Oregon to U.S. Pacific Possessions

I want to thank [player]Mad777[/player] for his continuing work of keeping the list up-to-date and providing links to the individual tournament iterations.

Second, thanks to those links, I can easily check the top scores of each completed tournament. All tournaments in Arizona week are now complete, and I have awarded the first weekly GA medal to [player]fairman[/player], who completed an Arizona tournament with the amazing score of 80 points!

Congratulations, fairman! =D> =D> =D>

These are autotournaments. We don't put you in, you just join them from the join links. Go to your Central Command page, open the USA Supertournament box, and see what tournament is currently available. You click on the tournament to see the full description, scroll down to where it says "Join" and click that.

It's all self-serve, there's no signing up.

Thanks Duke, updated up to today...

Scoreboard wise, josko has taken a 18pts lead by winning another State (Hawaii), Clanlord Carl is 2nd and _Untouchable 3rd with 32 pts behind the leader...

...If you want to appear in the scoreboard today you should have scored at least 85 points :!: (very soon a 3 digits score to be required to show within the Top-50)

Clanlord's Corner - I had a few hours of fame before Josko won another then another prep Untouchable leapfrogged us both. So far out of 9 tourneys 1,1,1,2,3,4,5,6,12 ok but not quite good enough perhaps.

Portland might never fill. I thought it was a decent map when played 1v1, but on more than 2 players all the breweries and rose gardens turn to neutrals and the map turns into a flaming dumpster pile. There is no reason for those territories to be neutral, the bonus was hard enough to get with only 2 players and even then you could only have one of the two bonuses.
