This would be majorly impressive considering there are only 6 games. ;-)

Did you forget your own scoring system?
Score System
Win a Doubles: 1 pt
Win a Triples: 2 pts
Win a Quads: 3 pts

Brain farts much? :P

Oops! Actually I did...hey, girls can have brain farts, too. :-$

Actually he said 9-3 wins! He should have say 9-3 points.

I firstly understood the same than you, that 9-3 was impossible with only 6 games! :D7

And yes, nice work on the result tab you made =D> =D> =D>

Excusez moi, s'il vous plait! I said "a 9-3 win" which refers to the score and not the number of games won/lost. But don't worry about it, especially since it's starting to look like a pretty conservative prediction...

Indeed the "a" changes all

We wouldn't have this kind of preoccupation with a 14-0 win 8-)

I don't understand why there's a Denmark/Norway team as well as a Sweden/Norway team. Surely just have Norway then a Denmark/Sweden team, no?
Not that it matters in any way at all, just curious...

Go on Ireland!

We originally had 6 people sign up from each of Sweden, Norway and Denmark. Thought it best to make into two teams and after consulting with all the team members, had a pretty even break between Denmark and Sweden with the Norway guys splitting between the two. When I was finalizing the team names, I didn't want to leave Norway out. :-)

Great tournament!

USA is playing Japan. I think they (Japan) is the team to beat.

Good call. I think it's the perfect solution, rather than leaving out one of the three.

I'm sure Bruceswar has gone missing. Since there are 15 rounds can we sub somehow?

Respectfully the USA Team,

HitRed

P.s. I am willing to ask the other teams. It's a reasonable request. Someone of the same rank.

Of course that's okay. We figured this would happen with some people and figured it may take a couple rounds to get teams completely in place. That's the reason we included this rule:
groovysmurf wrote:In order to win a prize detailed below, a player must be used in at least 14 rounds of the 17.

Figured this was the best way to be understanding of team replacements or people needing to bow out of a round for real life commitments, but at the same time still have a requirement set down for actually winning the prizes.

Just let me know who you'd like in there and we can change Bruceswar to a "reserve". :-)

Please accept my resignation as Captain of United Nations and remove me from the team roster. I can no longer play under current circumstances. Thanks a lot.

Really sorry to hear this. Of course, I hope you'll reconsider, but I will not pressure you at all and I do understand.

I'll be updating the scores after each round completes on both the Google Sheet Scorecard and Information and on Challonge.com.
