basic strategy tips for all new members

publicize a few basic strategy tips without people having to join SoC though still encourage SoC

let newcomers know the "secret" or at least not obvious info that many long time members know :

example:
1)learn the odds of different attacks winning (or even list them )

2)although there are exceptions, generally in 1v1
first : break opponent bonuses, reduce their deploy
second:increase your bonus/deploy when you have a good shot to hold it/ wont make you to weak to take care of first goal
third: generally don't attack neutrals unless it allows for first or second goal


makes it less likely new members will quit due to being at a disadvantage

could add a section called tips for new members to our current welcome to cc package

I remember the first time i played Northwest passage 6 years ago fog without map inspect or snaps;(why was that allowed if we are opposed to farming) I would like to see a mandatory tutorial say around game 99 when newbs need to get shown map inspect and snaps or maybe get links tube

This one is actually only available to the Academy Graduates Lounge - not available to NR's or the public. It might be helpful to make some of that info available to the NRs though.

exactly LLT ; I think SoC is great , but you don't want total newbies there because they may leave in midgame; and you dont want a freemium to have several slots take up by games lasting 20- plus days
But
I'd like to see newbies picking up some basic strategy easily enough to win a few games and become encouraged to maintain membership

of map inspect when they get privileges to play complicated maps ,
or snaps when they first get to play fog .. the
point is to level the playing field and retain new members

good sugg ... compile it and make it easier to find for noobs ... no one wants to get their ass handed to them
