BMO at 200

Post by DoomYoshi »

So today, we acknowledge 200 years of a corrupt financial system in Canada when the banks started. There are less than a dozen hunter/trappers and less than a thousand subsistence farmers/hunters left in the country. Since these are the only actual Canadian professions, and this is probably tied to the rise of the banks we can actually acknowledge 200 years since Canada died to me.

Understandably, the media have been slow to pick up on this spin and BMO themselves seem to be embarrassed by the fact, since their celebrations (at least to outsiders) appear pretty muted. This is the only stuff I could find. Does anyone bank with these charlatans? Can you identify whether or not they are doing something at a branch of the bank?

After a barrage of PMs from the Canadians on this site, I am reluctantly adding fapper to the list of real professions as a gesture of goodwill. Now stop bugging me people.

"The Canadians"?

This makes me feel oppressed.

The Interactive Fountain is apparently a big deal. People with smartphones can throw imaginary coins into the fountain and BMO will donate them to charity.
