The Ladder Reset is quite simple…Round Robin format for all active Ladder members.
The Ladder Reset tournament will be set up automatically by CC. You do not have to do a thing, except accept your invites and play your games. Because of the number of games, a player MUST be a Premium player to participate. Freemiums will automatically be placed at the bottom of the Ladder when the Ladder Reset concludes.
Each week, you will receive a new match consisting of three games as follows:
- Your Home game
Your Away game
Random Tie-Breaker
ALL players must submit prior to the start of Round 1 what they want their Home settings to be. These will be used for ALL of your Home games throughout the Ladder Reset tournament. Once submitted, you CANNOT change your settings.
Poly games CANNOT be 4v4 poly or trench. All other game settings are fine
Round 1 is scheduled to start July 24th...possibly sooner if everyone turns in their settings sooner.
The Random Tie-Breaker game will be Escalating – Chained – Sunny – No Trench – No Poly.
All games will have a 30 round limit.
12 Hour Fog Courtesy rule will be in effect.
If you fail to accept your game invite in time, you will be resent a new invite one time. After that, you will forfeit your game. No exceptions.
You will earn 1 point for each GAME you win.
At the end of the tournament, all points will be accumulated and you will be placed on the Ladder based on your points.
If there are any players tied for points at the end of the Ladder Reset tournament, then the following will be used for tie-breakers:
- Winner of head to head match
Player with the most 3 – 0 match scores
Player with the most 2 – 1 match scores
There is no need to post your game numbers or report your wins. This will be done automatically.
Weekly schedules and standings will be posted in the new 2017 SoC 1v1 Ladder Reset Tournament thread.
We have decided to give away the following medals and prizes:
A player can win a medal based on the following Ladder Streak of games won 3 - 0:
7 matches - Bronze
10 matches - Silver
13 matches - Gold
17 matches - Platinum
A player can only win this one time (ie, can't win two Bronze medals)
1st - Medal + 1200 credits (3 months premium)
2nd - 1200 credits (3 months premium)
3rd - 600 credits (1 month premium)
