again do you think players thought platinum games would be NEW games? or existing old games? I would think most thought they were NEW games. Games hardly abandon? my teammate last visited the site in dec. it is now may. A game that takes 6 months to fill is not a game worth saving and by any logical interpretation abandoned.but its fine now at least those who were not aware as to how these games were being chosen now they do.

The confusion may be coming from this if I assumed the game was a NEW game then I ask how did a player who had not visited the site cense December end up in a NEW game.The response I received is about booting players from games over time that have not visited the site,really not what I asked and if you understand that this is the M medal challenge were the games have always been NEW games then that is the perspective everyone should be thinking from NEW games. it really would have been so much easier if the response was "yeah the platinum games, we are trying to empty the pantry so unlike in past M medal challenges these are existing old games that have not been filling over NEW games"

I don't know what other players think Ooge, all I know is that the Platinum games, this month, are from the Pantry. As long as there is a Pantry, no game is abandoned. As long as there is an active player waiting for the game, it is technically not abandoned. If you want to put a time limit on what is considered "abandoned", then what I do is adopt those games and find them a good home. For example, they give you a Platinum medal for the month of May.

If there is an inactive player in the game, they will get a Platinum medal for being a part of it. I am working towards having inactives booted from waiting games as to counteract inactives in team games

not the place for this discussion,you and catcher both brought in about booting players from old not filling games not I.I working under the assumption games were NEW games as has been the case with ALL past M medals did not understand how a inactive player ended up in a NEW game.I was able to figure out for myself from the indirect answers I received.And now as I stated previously everyone knows were the platinum games came from.

not a bad idea,I think everyone who wanted to get their bot medal has had it for a while.This will force some players to revisit the Bots as well as get players started towards their bot medals..I dont think the zombie setting gets used that much either,no medal with that setting though

As far as I understood, there's no need to win it to get platinum token, only by join it. So you already got this platinum (if it was on list of course).

Correct, but you will not get a both a platinum and a bronze from the same game.

Yes, there is a limit. The system will continue to drop platinum tokens as it doesn't check before dropping to see how many you have. If you run the numbers yourself you will see that the players with 100+ platinum tokens scores correctly reflect the 100 platinum token limit, they are not receiving credit towards the challenge for joining the extra games.
