Missed Turns During Freestyle

Concise description:
I am playing a freestyle game where I took my turn second to last, leaving one more player to take their turn. They subsequently missed their turn and now I am blocked from taking my turn in the next round because, technically, I was the last person to take a turn during the round. I see this as unfair since I was present for the round and otherwise would have not been blocked in the next round if the other player took their turn in time.

Specifics/Details:
I feel that if you miss your turn in Freestyle, you should be the one blocked from taking your turn until somebody else starts the round off.


How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
I would like to know other's thoughts, especially from freestyle fans

It's been broken for a long time and never fixed. Don't be surprised if it remains this way permanently, or until a new owner arrives on the scene.
