Reducing turn times for Freemium

Post by Newcastle777 »

Games should be set at not just 24hr but 18hrs and 12 and 6 (For Freemium).

It is from the Freemium visitors that new Premiums will be made.

Once on site if there is no action they disappear and never come back. Having lower turn setting increases the chance of getting through a few games in those crucial first days.

The longer they hang around and get to familiarize themselves with the site the higher the chance they will be converted to subscription imo.

Just a thought.

Too short for a casual game.

Don't noobs currently get a couple of free speed games to get them started?

They also have the option for real time bot games, as well as guide games with a real person?

When I used to help out on guide games half the time the newbie would deadbeat so I stopped helping out on guide games. Although they actually are a good idea.

Most newbies leave due to inaction. The solution is either to make their games a little faster, give them more slots or a welcome pack of 5 speed games a week etc...

Coca Cola didn't get big cause it's a fantastic product, it got big by giving away free Cola in emerging markets to build a footprint.

There has been a lot of effort and experimentation in regards to new players, different offerings etc including speed games and such. Most had almost no effect on the amount of player retention.

The ones that did ended up getting implemented (stuff like the guide games) and bots.

The deadbeating of NR etc doesn't really change it's the ones that don't deadbeat that are targeted generally as they are much more likely to try the 4 games or attempt to continue on
