"Orust" is the name of the large island northeast of Denmark.
Oldest archeological finds are 10-11.000 yrs old.

at that time it was an island

that´s just silly and completely untrue..

..but never mind, there´s no way we´ll ever find out what places were called 10.000 yrs ago.
Don´t be confused though - the name kattegat has always been a name for the waters.

You should replace Wales with "irish sea", Cornwall with "celtic sea", Kent with "english channel" and Shetland with "north sea" if you want the rest of the map to be equally silly.

is it? in the scources ive got it sais that that part was an island. what i ment was that there was an island in the sea. as i couldnt find the name of any underwater feutures in that area i named it after the sea. Kent ect has not been under the sea and dogger actually is the name of that bart of the north sea as is viking.
