That said, DC Rebirth has been awesome.

Weirdly enough, or maybe not so weirdly, I've been reading a bunch of the comics where they changed the heroes and made them women. Wolverine, Captain Marvel, and Gwenpool, specifically. I'm not sure how many are ongoing, but they are pretty awesome.

I'm not really enjoying the Watchmen stuff in DC Rebirth so far. But then again, I just paid to see The Dark Tower in my local cinema, so I'm not exactly the best judge of who will pay to see something they've read and loved re-created by idiots.

"Wolverine" has been female since death of Wolverine a few years back. Thor has also been female through then. I actually thought Captain Marvel was always female, turns out I was wrong; Carol Danvers was known as Ms. Marvel before.

Eh, other than a subtle hint here and there, there really hasn't been any direct references to the Watchmen. Most series, outside of Superman, Batman, and Flash, aren't even touching on it.

Two that have been really good are;
Super Sons- Featuring Jon Kent (son of Clark and Lois) Superboy and Damian Wayne (Robin). Just a fun series that basically shows how a young Batman and Superman would get along. And boy is it entertaining!

The other is Red Hood and the Outlaws. In this incarnation of the team, you obviously have Jason Todd as Red Hood (former Robin), but he's teamed up with Artemis of Bana-Mighdall (an Amazon) and a version of Bizarro. In essence, we have the "Dark Trinity", with a member of the Bat Family, Wonder Family, and Super Family. And the three really become like a family. Jason is the mother, Artemis is the father, and Bizarro is the rather large, strong, and pale child.

Marvel continuity isn't really something anyone should get in to- at least one of the new Wolverine arcs has Old Man Wolverine in it, after all. I just go with the flow and try to ignore continuity with other series.

In my adult life, I've only bought three or four: a Calvin and Hobbes collection and a Gary Larsen collection, which cost me about 10 bucks each, and a couple copies of Mad magazine which I think cost me 4.99 each.

Oh, correction. I bought a couple of Spiderman comics at a used book sale for 10 cents each.
