Invite to Live Chat Feature
I have posted this somewhere before; however, doesn't seem to be in the suggestions.

-- The idea is to put a button on people's profile or in pm that invites them to live chat

[spoiler=Features]Players can go to your wall and click "invite to live chat" or "invite to group chat"
-- I know it seems ridiculous with already having a live chat, but the usage level of live chat has dropped tremendously since it's implementation.

Upon clicking.)
1. Takes you to a private message on live chat
or
Takes you to a group in live chat
2. Sends other person request
3. Other person clicks and is then is brought into that chat

-- This would contribute to getting people more accustomed to live chat
-- It also allows you to show availability

Mass invites would be cool as well

Anything to make it easier to communicate with online members.

Our chatroom is a click away and nobody has any incentive to use it.[/spoiler]

Ultimately, we need a way to know who is online -- the global chat is nice, but it doesn't tell me who is online...
-- people may not want to be bothered, but I've been foed for posting on people's walls so this is nothing new...

see, i didn't see this as an invite to GLOBAL, but as an invite to a private chat room in the old live chat. an invite to global wouldn't seem very useful, it is available when you get to the Central Command. LIVE ChAT isn't what it used to be, not as much traffic, so people may not think to use it. if this were implemented, i could see it being used a great deal... HOWEVER, i always have issues logging into live chat, due to my browser using HTTPS, instead of HTTP. if i want to go to live chat, i have to disable the security or allow whatever it is that chrome pops up. this could cause headaches in programming, etc...
