But since you are challenging for the #1 spot concurrently, I believe a loss in my challenge would not affect you at all. **I reserve the right to be corrected by Chuck**

It's academic anyway, you're going to beat me.

I've already answered it up above, but dhall is right...The Ladder moves chronologically based on postings to this Forum (exception: Ladder Reset may result in actual game log time stamps).

Your challenge for #1 was officially posted and so was dhall's challenge to you. Regardless of who beat who or when, your matches would still play out and wouldn't lose your #1 challenge or your spot.

The only way for a person to lose a chance at challenging #1 is if that person has DIBS and is in the #6 spot. The #6 gets beat by a challenger, he then moves to #7, loses DIBS, and DIBS is back up for grabs.

You're an ass...LOL

I'm sorry to hear that, bobby...Putting you in the Inactive Players List now...I do keep your stats for when you return.

If it's any consolation...for the longest time, i had the worse record on here. I had something like eight or nine losses in a row!!! I kept plugging away and challenging others and have gotten a decent record now.

I recommend the SoC 1v1 Training Program once it's up and running...

I am sorry you feel like that bobby, that is after being beaten by me 2-0 with third game still ongoing (so I am reporting the win which is my 10th in a row to be only the third person to get that medal).

In games with me you were indeed so unlucky with dices in all 3 games. But sometimes you will also be lucky, dice does not know which is the competition you are playing. Please dont be discouraged and leave the ladder, which is actually quite fun competition to be involved in. I hope you reconsider your decision and stay with us, we need you.

I've got the match results recorded...

This is josko.ri's tenth Ladder win in a row...which earns him the Bronze Ladder Win Streak medal. I'll submit the paperwork here shortly and you should receive a PM from the Mods or Admin notifying you of your new medal.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Got the match recorded for you...I also made a notation (for myself) that dhall beats you, that he can only go to #3 on the Ladder.

Congrats on making it to the top!!! Ladder Defender is in effect...

Is there actually a medal for your medals page? I don't see one on the other 2 who have won 10+ in a row.

Also a general question about the rules: if I lose my match against dhallmeyer I understand that dhallmeyer will not double jump up to the top spot. But would I drop a place? - so someone could actually get to top spot without playing me?

I don't like reading ahead, so this may have already been answered by other players...

1. There is a an actual medal..I think it uses the same design for SoC training, but dhallmeyer and/or ElricThreGreat can answer that best. I tell them who needs a medal and they handle it for me.

2. You are referring to Rule #11 where it says, "11. If you challenge someone AND win, you take over their Ladder rung. The loser will lose one spot on the Ladder." Here's a better clarification of the rule...When you challenge someone and win, the loser has to go somewhere, so we move them down one rung. Originally, we toyed with the idea of having the two players swap places, but with so many challenges going at once, it can get quite confusing for me...I do all of this work manually.

So, if dhall beats you, he would go to #3 and you would stay at #1. Rule #17 comes into play for you which states at the end, "...The only exception is the #2 thru #5 players MUST challenge the #1 player and win to achieve the #1 spot."

The only way for you to lose your #1 ranking is to lose to someone who challenges you. Right now, I have DIBS, so I'll be challenging you here shortly.

Hopefully that clears it up for you...

I think if someone challenging you beats you they take your spot

"11. If you challenge someone AND win, you take over their Ladder rung. The loser will lose one spot on the Ladder."

so dhallmeyer WOULD move into first if he knock you off the mountain

Nope...Rule #16 comes into play..."16. If you challenge someone and win AND that person, who is also challenging someone, beats their opponent, you do NOT double jump. For example, Tom (#10) beats Dick (#8) who also beats Harry (#5)…Tom goes to #8, Dick goes to #5, and Harry goes to #6."

Dhallmeyer can only go to #3 if he wins...

I see it now and it is the SoC Training Medal - I thought (hoping for) a new one specifically for this challenge.

You'll have to take that up with bigWham. New medals don't get made that often, so we have to make do with what we have.

I would like to postpone a couple of days if that is ok. I think I get 7 days to accept? If you could send me the pass and I'll join and create my game in a few days.

My game load has just more that doubled due to a couple of tournaments.
