Re: SoC 1v1 Ladder Challenge
Please put me in inactive status regarding the Ladder. The absolute most unpleasant games I have played on C C have occurred in these one on one games. I need that one on one training before I will subject myself to this anymore.

I am sorry you feel like that bobby, that is after being beaten by me 2-0 with third game still ongoing (so I am reporting the win which is my 10th in a row to be only the third person to get that medal).
In games with me you were indeed so unlucky with dices in all 3 games. But sometimes you will also be lucky, dice does not know which is the competition you are playing. Please dont be discouraged and leave the ladder, which is actually quite fun competition to be involved in. I hope you reconsider your decision and stay with us, we need you.

Is there actually a medal for your medals page? I don't see one on the other 2 who have won 10+ in a row.
Also a general question about the rules: if I lose my match against dhallmeyer I understand that dhallmeyer will not double jump up to the top spot. But would I drop a place? - so someone could actually get to top spot without playing me?

Training will commence right away, Bobby. Those 2 random invites from me aren't a ladder challenge. They're training games.

Congrats to grt for handily bating me ; You're #1 now...
I think if someone challenging you beats you they take your spot
"11. If you challenge someone AND win, you take over their Ladder rung. The loser will lose one spot on the Ladder."
so dhallmeyer WOULD move into first if he knock you off the mountain
I wish either my father or my mother, or indeed both of them as they were in duty both equally bound to it, had minded what they were about when....
If 2 player fog game, please allow 12 hour snap courtesy, or post what I could have seen.... Thank you

I don't believe dhallmeyer would take first spot as I was not 1st when he challenged me. He would move up to 3rd maybe?? But if I lost then I would move down 1 spot (I think) which means you would then regain 1st again (even though you didn't challenge me). Hopefully I won't lose but just trying to understand the rules.

Chuck keeps track of the timestamps on challenges and results. grt, you are initially correct: there is no double jump. I challenged you for the #3 spot, and that's what I would get. You would then slide to #4, if nothing else were happening. But since you are challenging for the #1 spot concurrently, I believe a loss in my challenge would not affect you at all. **I reserve the right to be corrected by Chuck**
It's academic anyway, you're going to beat me.
