This is not going anywhere. vote mandy
I don't know how we get tokle in here.
I suspect aage too. I like mets. To some extent, I also like doom, but it didn't like the way he ended D2. I have no idea what Tim is doing.
I'm on the fence with Wing and Storr, but to me Storr at least reminds me of Storr when he's scumhunting.
Sam_levi I seem to like too, while I'm also on the fence with hotshot, Marashu, and Greg...
I don't know what else to add. I feel like people are keeping their cards close to the chest.

Oh great... let's forget everything we know about mafia and play with new rules. Since when is it enough to say "I will vote X because I think X is scum" What the fudge? Why would anyone care what my opinion is? I have to back it up.
Seriously.. I can't figure out what some of you want from me sometimes.. Look what happened to me last game when I said "I think mandy is scum I vote mandy" ... Nobody suspected you until it was too late.. They all ignored the crap out of my opinion because I was gonna get lynched anyway. So yeah.. no way I'm voting for someone without justifying it. Honestly, I have you to thank for this higher quality vote posts. You're a good player and I learnt from you.

Hence the qualifier "reminds". What are your thoughts on those I mentioned?

*TOTAL META TALK*
This is the thing: Scum tells are not exact science. There is sentence or vote or attitude that you can just see and say: "AHA! This guy is a proven scum!"
"Official" scumtells like WIFOM and OMGUS are just thing that no Townie should do because they don't benefit Town in any way AND fit into thinking-pattern of a (inexperienced) scum player who doesn't know that he is going to attract attention to himself by doing those things.
Say it's my first game ever, I'm scum and all I know is that I don't want to be lynched or to get my buddies lynched. You vote me (for whatever reason) and I say something like "Fine then I'll vote you too." My thinking here is not "I have to find scum" nor is it (unless I'm extremely self-involved) "Voting for me is a clear sign of evil."; instead it's "I want to discourage people from voting me". Since survival is more important to scum (the minority) then to Town, this means that I'm most likely scum.
However, this does not apply to every vote against a guy who is voting me. If I'm being bandwagoned, then I my vote is most likely going to go to one of the players voting me (since they are many). The crucial difference here is that I have to give an additional reason for thinking that guy is scum, aside from him voting me.
Secondly, while it is very good that you are looking to improve your game by learning all the rules and patterns; IMO you will profit even more by putting yourself in other players shoes and trying to understand why they do what they do.
Finally, you have to find a style of play that is a) fun for you (because there is no point in playing unless you're having fun) and b) can be successfully played no matter your role (Town or Scum).
P.S. In Mafia, as in life it's never important what I want from you and always important what you want from yourself, grasshopper.

And despite all that, you somehow think I am scum. What praytell is my tell or sentence I wrote that made you decide that I was scum? Or is it just omgus?
Stop trying yo pretend to be helpful. You just wrote an essay which is clearly alignment neutral to try and appear town as you have nothing better to say, but want people to notice you being helpful.

You're attacking people for being active. Scum want to kill the discussion because the discussion is the only way to ferret out the scum. Hence, the guy trying to shut people up = probably scum.

Sigh. Read my D1 play. You will find something odd.
But you havent bothered, cause you arent scumhunting.
I am not attaking the active players. I am attacking you. Who are the active players anyway? Dont see many

I'm rereading Day 1. Page 8:

Dark can be Town? Light is scum? I can not recall any fantasy novel or mafia game where that has been true. He has stated he is Dark alighned.
He has no choice but to claim.
Dakky IS scum.
And the fact you dont know that makes you the next lynch.
Know.
Know.
I can't remember when was the last time that, as Town, I KNEW that someone is scum.
But, you KNEW. And if IB dared disagree, you were going to lynch him next.
Because you, a Trolloc, know that dakky (Trolloc) was scum.
...

Yup, seems legit. Sorry for doubting you.

Re: WoT:Mem of Light [16/20] D3: Screams from the soul
3 players talking and a bunch of other guys listening
Sounds like one of those boring "reality" theater shows.
Ragian is with us at least. In a complete turn of events from the norm I have never once suspected you of being scum this game Rag. I don't think that's a particularly good thing though. A little skepticism is useful.
This is my first game with Storr and the only thing that I've been picking up is that he seems bored since before the game even started. xD If that is the case I don't blame you though.
Wing I'm pretty sure mandy broke character for that post. He was talking as mandy and not as whatever role he has. Or maybe it's also an act. Won't matter.. People should have made up their mind about him already.. not sure why people aren't voting/giving their cases as to why not.
Initial read on mitch's new character: scum

people are keeping cards close because this isn't a game of mafia. Thats my thought imo.
Regarding wing, we are clicking on a lot of people we want lynched. I have him as town. I still want to lynch new guy, greg, mandy, and madmitch. Tim sounded like a huge ass bait with that. Sure he could be scum, but its possible he is trying to change the focus to him. Hasn't done anything since. its weird for sure.
rage you seem to be trying to figure things out, you dont seem like you are set out on controlling the flow of the game. I have you as town. I disagree regarding aage. I want to be fine with mets, but i haven't argued with him yet. Some what concerning. Though that could just be my more lax play.

Thank heavens Storr. Finally got a read on you. Go read D1, Mandy cant see my odd play. It concerns Mets. And on that one, just trust me.
Re: WoT:Mem of Light [16/20] D3: Screams from the soul
is it really that important. i really dont want to have to reread. most people who play this game don't. why can't i just be lazy like them.. WING

Sigh Storr, but you are going to have to piece this together. Only a few here will work it out.
And whilst I am posting stuff, here is a gem.
Hmmm. This is me going after the "active players" on p7....
WingCmdr Ginkapo wrote:StorrZerg wrote:Metsfanmax wrote:All of you people pre-emptively going after dakky, that's pretty weak. If he flips town then you all get to play the "oops, well he probably had it coming anyway" card and I'm going to bet there's at least one scum on that.
At least give him a full 24 hours of day time so that he can really earn your lynch first.
This would be the defending post I would think.
It's not bad advice for town either. Pressuring accountability on people.
The first part stunk of trying to gain town cred post Dakkys lynch. Dakky flips scum, no harm done. Dakky flips town, Mets claims to have been the sensible townie and town cred.
The second part of his post was basically pointless when we couldnt lynch for 24hrs anyway. And that Mets only requoted that bit says a lot.
Clearly Dakky isnt in an inner circle otherwise he almost certaintly would have been chatting to his new scum mates N0, or at least seen he was in a gang. No harm for Mets to be the voice of reason in a lynch that was unstoppable anyway.

Hmmm fos not a vote.
Why the lack of commitment to the joke vote? What reason do you have to be reserved?

Re: WoT:Mem of Light [16/20] D3: Screams from the soul
wing, I don't trust you on that one. You picked mets out of the bunch at the very beginning of day 1 and locked on him like a tiger. Was it a post restriction to mention him every time, or are you confirming him as dark?

Also, aage hasn't said anything this day really.
@Wing, I don't get your masterplay or odd play. Is it imperative that one figures it out oneself or could you perhaps enlighten the less fortunate? Why did you pick on mets?

Re: WoT:Mem of Light [16/20] D3: Screams from the soul
f*ck that was a quick hammer, although given how little people could be bothered today, no wonder. My initial thoughts are that tomorrow I want to lynch Tokle, he's completely deadweight. After that I want to go after Tim, he posted twice. Once was that fucking weird post where he seemed to want to convince people he was a jester for some reason, and once more to hammer.
