You can't set it permanently, but you can edit your profile via the Control Panel.

Yes. Roland, if you go to User Control Panel > Profile you can edit your avatar, signature and much more.

I hope that answers your question.

The flag that shows is just a guide to the location of the internet provider or proxy you have connected to CC through.
It was never intended to be 100% accurate and is done through an external link so can not be edited manually.

Why aren't people allowed to just set their own country?

Why? The amateur sleuthing of people like bamage might suffer a setback, but the actual multi hunters would still be able to see people's IP addresses.

That is their "IP checker".

Even if it's true, we don't have to display it on our wall for them to use it. Multi hunters could have access to the tool, and at the same time we could have the flag we want on our wall. But I like to see my flag change when I travel so I hope it doesn't change.

There is no way to display it without it appearing on profiles, unless you want double flags?

IP is misleading. I COULD have a slew of multis here and never get caught if the IP address is the only thing they used (maybe it is). As I am on the road about 300 days a year, whenever I log in, I have a different IP address.

Good luck with that. I think the ever-efficient IP flag checker will catch you.

Good point. It's for the same reason I refuse to buy premium - I do not wish to have my credit card number and expiry date published on my profile for all to see.

Symmetry is only 'single issue' if you consider 'being annoying' his issue of choice. Which would mean every troll (e.g. Dukasaur) is a single issue troll by definition.

You wouldn't consider, broadly speaking that everything LBGT is a single issue/platform/obsession?

Dude, I'm not a single issue poster. It would be more correct to accuse my critics of being single issue in their criticisms of me.

At best, I can be accused of wanting more people to post in the forum. LGBT isn't a single thing, it's a spectrum.

I'm not even devoted to the topic, although you might find some posters who can't consider me as more than it.
