PS - whoever puts name on the ladder, would you please correct the spelling of my name? it is bobbythomson, not babbythomson
You also need to post your games here. I see I received two 1v1 and one doubles game from you. Doubles game is not needed only 1v1 count. I will send you third game and it will be poly 3v3 because 1v1 and poly except poly 4v4 are allowed in this challenge.
The two games I set up in my challenge with Josko are Game 16707250 and Game 16707264. I put those number in manually since the puter won't let me copy them until the game is one - right now I have simply sent the invite.
I didn't know I would be playing head to head with a general!
I have never played poly - I guess that means we each play multiple hands, so to speak? Interesting.
Do the normal scoring rules apply to the ladder?
Do I need to do something more to get my name changed on the ladder?
I added links to your 2 games ... as for the name fix ... chuck will get to it the next time he checks in.
As for the rules ... win 2 out of the 3 matches and you advance otherwise you stay where you are .... enjoy all of those josko points you will get with a win!
btw chuck ... if you add me as an editor for the spreadsheet I do not mind making corrections once in awhile ... just offering

I accept your invite and here is my game I invited you: Game 16708571
didn't know nuclear spoils was an option - I really don't understand that option if someone can help explain - only played it once before. bobbythomson

In nuclear all cards you cash both yours and opponents will become 1 neutral. In other words you nuke them to 1 neutral. But be careful not to nuke your own territories. Also knowing your territory is in your nuke cards can help you not to be nuked by opponent.

if so, then I challenge [player]Philbro[/player] with this games (If I understood correctly, Poly(3) are allowed settings): Game 16691384 Game 16691380
Everything looks good...I've got your challenge recorded...Good luck to you and welcome!
So, just to check, Poly(2) and Poly (3) are allowed? Just not Poly (4)?
I am reporting that I won vs Philbro 3-0. My first win in the ladder feeling excited. I will post later who I will challenge the next.
I have to say that this has been the most unpleasant experience making me wonder if the "deck was stacked" right from the start - not only did he get Japan as a "random" map, but 3 of 4 countries in SA to start, and most of NA too, and my dice feel loaded against me - two times in a row rolling to use all I stacked not even to take a country? Something feels awfully fishy here
I'm normally not a complainer - but this has NOT been a fair fight - I am winning no dice rolls - just lost 6 in a row - and this general is just running over me - not to mention the setup to start.
Sorry for your disappointment I have indeed be very lucky in our games.
If you want to challenge me again for rematch then you first need to challenge another player and if you will still be below me on the ladder then you can challenge me again, I would gladly give you rematch maybe with more fairer dice next time.

Great idea, Chuck. I personally don't see how you do it all; run the ladder, run the clan, teach in SoC, jet to international locals, stay with the elite of the world when you happen to be in town, still manage to pull off an impossible heist while keeping the wife and mistress happy and blissfully ignorant of each other....
Bobby, the maps are completely random. It was an odd coincidence that you fought Josko on Japan, but it probably favors you, since Japan is one of the most straightforward maps in the Classic style.
Josko is probably the best player on this site, and you would have to search long and hard to find a tougher opponent. If he had wanted to choose his own map, he could have picked far harder choices.
Here's the third map in my challenge vs. ganguscalm: Game 16704034
