I would like to participate in training, although new to the game I seem to always put up a good fight only to be undone as the game nears the end. Any strategic advice would be appreciated.

Hi. Can you help? I've played a few games with some friends (classic map, fog of war, non-escalating spoils, unlimited reinforcements), and have gotten annihilated every time. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but clearly my current strategy sucks.
