As the game is freestyle, you have 24 hours to take your turn, this ended at 11.29.

The last player to make their move in the previous round must wait 12 hours or until another player starts their turn before playing, whichever comes first.

This is because each round lasts 24 hours, regardless of when you take your turn in freestyle. You can see this in the game log above, Round 12 starts, then Round 13 starts exactly 24 hours later. No abuse was done in your game. It's just the time at which you chose to take your turn was so close to the end of the round, that you ran out of time to take your turn.
