I will give it a try, but for sure there is a winner before,

  • Colombia
  • Ecuador
  • Peru
  • Chile
  • Argentina
  • Brazil
  • Uruguay
  • Bolivia
  • Belgium
  • The Netherlands
  • England
  • Spain
  • France
  • Portugal
  • Italy
  • Greece
  • Germany
  • Czech Republic

I don't count Venezuela and Panama, although technically i went there, but only for few hours. Next stop for the next year: Africa and Asia.

You don't have to be rich to travel. If you're willing to rough it a bit, stay in youth hostels or campgrounds, make most of your own meals, etc., you can get quite a lot of traveling done for not much more than what it costs you to live in your own home.

Also, coming from North America, you probably don't realize just how close distances are in Europe. When a guy from Holland says he's been to England and Spain, that's like a guy from Cincinatti saying he's been to Missouri and he's been to Florida. Europe is just so much more compact that Canada or the U.S. You can cross half a dozen countries in an afternoon if you plan your trip right.

i'd be very surprised if i'm not the 'most well travelled CCer'. travelling is my life. i think i have only taken turns from laos, vietnam, cambodia, thailand, japan, england, germany, tunisia and austria but i havn't been on the site for too long. give it another year (assuming i'm still playing) and i'll be on 30+.

Fun fact, last time I flew from Newark to Albany the check-in lady hadn't heard of Albany.

Yes, when at home I have no life! ;)

I don't actually remember posting that but was likely tongue in cheek based on my 200+ active. Anyhow, when you feel like using your old account be sure to let us all know.

Don't travel us much these days, pretty much restricted to Europe.

I am intrigued to hear more about your visit to Libya... Touristing in Tripoli, or shady business deals with corrupt Libyan col.. I mean generals? Or perhaps as part of a tordid affair with bbc foreign affairs correspondent Orla Guerin?

Yeah.... That is the James Bond list of where to spy. Fer sure! Monaco for gambling and meeting sinister female types with sexual names. Switzerland to deposit winnings and visit the clinic. Italy to foment riots. Spain to foment more riots. USA to teach Obama how to bow to the empower of Islam... And then Libya to start a spring revolt.

Very suspect indeed!
