Has CC become more inclusive of homosexuality?
I'd like to get people's opinions on how CC treats homosexuality. For older players, that much might be how you've seen attitudes change. For newer players, how you view attitudes on the site and what you see in the future.

Were you aware that up untill recently using the word "gay" could get you banned? Could you elaborate on your rare experiences?

Every now and then I find myself refusing to complete a bonus because I don't want the map to look all samey but aside from that no issues.

I wonder if this will escalate into permaban #4.

um... didn't you already have this deal with in C&A and then you went on to suggestions about it.. and now, for some reason, you are going on about it in the GD. in before the lock, merge, ban... good luck with this...-Jésus noir

Specifics/Details:
I received a ban from chat for using the word "gay". The mod who delivered the ban thought that I should make a suggestion topic. I was surprised that CC considered it to be a slur.
How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
I think that the word "gay" shouldn't be taboo and seen as an insult. It bothers me that CC currently thinks it is taboo. The site would, in my opinion, be better off if the word "gay" was not considered taboo under the current rules

As long as words like 'cupcake' are not censured, then it still has some way to go.

you have yet to show an instance of "cupcake" being used as some sort of homosexual slur. additional, the OP is trolling. already posted the thread that was locked down (Subject: Gay should not be considered taboo)... he is now in his third forum, seeking whatever it is that he is trying to do. but, while you are making your usual claims of CUPCAKE being a homosexual slur, let me post this for you:
cup·cake
ˈkəpˌkāk/Submit
noun
1. a small cake baked in a cup-shaped container and typically iced.
2. USinformal an attractive woman (often as a term of address).
sooo, suck it up, cupcake... the black jesus has spoken..-Jésus noir

I did post one before. However, for those with a short-term memory:

You may also note that this thread:
https://forums.wildstar-online.com/foru ... gbt/page-5
refers to cupcake as an Asian N-word. Care to justify it in that context?
Just grow up and stop using it. It's boring, if nothing else.

The way you're interpreting cupcake is homophobic, not the way it is used.

It's clearly being used to suggest a lack of masculinity and moral fibre - as if the poster were not strong enough to ignore the thing about which they're complaining.

Re: Has CC become more inclusive of homosexuality?
I am reading the comic Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. She has gone back in time to the 60s and hates how all the men call her cupcake.
In battle, turning tail and fleeing before the order is given is an automatic execution. Nobody would expect a pretty young lady (read:civilian) to stay and fight, which is where the male version of cupcake comes from. It has nothing to do with homosexuality, just that you deserve to die.

Or, that you're acting like a woman. If you quote historical literature as a reference, gay just means happy.
Anyway, do what you will. I've had enough. Play on in your ever-decreasing circle. I'm finishing my games and my final contribution will be to the "is CC declining" statistic.

---------It's kinda like Yella means coward, chicken. Should C.C. ban chickens and the color yellow? What will we use for player #4? I guess T.V. can cancel cupcake wars.
---------You're not HAPPY playing anymore. I guess on your way out, you can go and smoke a Cigarette? What do Brits call them? A word is just a word. In the English language. Just about any one word has so many meanings.
---------Maybe HANZ and FRANZ will pay you a visit for attacking C.C. with slander? Maybe they'll bring cupcakes?

To answer the OP... when was it ever not inclusive to all?
After all, there are plenty of posts here about cupcakes, butts, videos of little boys...it seems all are allowed.
