Anyone Else Screwed?

This morning I come on to CC to take my usual morning turns before work, like I usually do. (I don't have cpu access at my job.) However, I couldn't load my games. I tried using the central command, game finder, pretty much every thing I could, but I couldn't load any of my games. After some time (maybe half an hour) I give up and have to go to work. I noticed in the chat others complaining about similar things, but I didn't have the ambition to get into discussions then about it since I was simply trying to make my moves and get on with another workday.

Of course, when I come home today after about an 11 hour shift, I had missed a TON of turns, some of which were game changers, tournament games, clan games, etc. What the hell?

I feel like somethings should be done here. I mean, CC advertises itself as a 24 hour turn based risk-type game that allows for casual gamers as well as hardcore ones. Heck, when I joined back in 2007, I remember reading something like 'you can take you turns with your morning cup of coffee.' Well, this morning CC did not give me the opportunity to do so, then penalized me for it with a slew of misses. This is shit service at its finest.

Was anyone else completely screwed with this or was I the only one unlucky enough to get the short end of the stick here?

I've heard several other people couldn't play their games, either. Apparently something was wrong for about three hours.

I think they try really hard to avoid this kind of incident, but nothing is perfect.

Missing turns is a tactic.

Another issue is that any new team chat was leaked publicly, so the opposing team saw exactly what was said. This happened to us in a Clan League game and has happened in plenty of other games too I believe. It's completely unfair, but CC never really fix things like that so I wouldn't expect any assistance. Respect to those helping to fix the problem though, like KA and TG.

The reason everything cocked up was because of an update to global chat or something. How dumb.

System crashed for awhile (again). I wondered how many people would miss turns because of it.

Same ol same ol, nothing gets fixed, or gets better.

I appreciate the information and replies, guys.

Still, it's frustrating. Just like Caffeine got screwed in some CL games, I did as well, including missing a turn where I had like a +13 bonus or something. When I took my next turn I only got 8 and on of my teammates was eliminated.

Plus, in he 6 man 'elite escalating" tournament I missed a turn with 4 cards while there at around 100 cash... obviously that one could be a game killer as well.

I wouldn't mind as much if it were my own, personal, pointless little games. If I had come along to CC recently instead of 8+ yrs ago when it was booming, I probably wouldn't have stayed very long.
