Yeah, I was hoping to launch the next round on the weekend. R/L kind of took over my life and I didn't get to it. Hayes actually gets the delay to Tuesday that he wanted, and it wasn't really a conscious decision on my part, just a family barbeque and a bunch of other things that just moved me away from my computer.

Thanks guys. I'm pretty sure I'm going to come up a few games short in the 1v1. T4 played well and also got some extra first turns based on the random assignment. Was a long but fun tourny, looking forward to the next one when it happens.

It's official, we have gotten to 17 wins.

Congratulations to Hayesez, Ven, and Culham for meeting us and giving a great fight. This team has been courted by so many clans and we knew they were a tough one to beat. I expect they will be making noise in the tourney halls once more.

A big thank you to Dukasaur for seeing this through. It was a long tourney and there was a lot of hard work that went with this.

Yes, after a year and a half, we are happy to congratulate Jackal, Zips, and RKCVED on a well-deserved title. Their experience, especially on smaller maps and escalating spoils, was evident. There were several maps where they simply out-played us. We tip our hats.

Huge, huge thanks to Dukasaur. This tourney has taken substantially longer than anticipated and their were some hiccups along the way. We sure appreciate all of your work to make it successful, Duk; thank you (And if you plan on ever doing this again, we have a few suggestions that might make it smoother/easier/etc).

Last game is finishing up now - echoing the congrats sentiments to our esteemed opponents in the championship round. Solid trio of players who did indeed control most of the maps we played them on. (After a 2-9 run in the first round of the championships, I think we knew we were in for a struggle). Once we've all managed to decompress from the tourney, I imagine we'd love to face off against them again in some more casual games.

Thank you, Dukasaur, for running this marathon of a tourney. A year and a half is a herculean effort keeping things running, and you did a helluva job.

None of the opposition are anything to sneeze at either! Some of the most powerful teams on CC participated in this event, which should make the triumph of the Champions that much sweeter.

Many thanks to all for the many, many words of encouragement and support that I got from you, for the good grace with which everyone accepted all my rulings, and in general for being good, sportsmanlike players. You have made this a into a very positive experience for myself and for each other.
