Re: The Tournament Players Association - Year 5
When I click on the game link for "TPA5 All-Star Main Event", I get this: You are not authorised to read this forum.
Why is that? How do I see the results of the first round?

I didn't see the point in creating a separate thread for it (with no sign-ups), so I linked it to the All-Star Month thread in the TD forum.morleyjoe wrote:When I click on the game link for "TPA5 All-Star Main Event", I get this: You are not authorised to read this forum.

I'll post a link to the relevant scoresheet somewhere in the OP of this thread when it's ready - and when I do, I'll PM all involved so you'll know where to find it.morleyjoe wrote:How do I see the results of the first round?

Re: The Tournament Players Association - Year 5
The Sweeping, Objective, and Passing Competitions are now complete, and the Stacking competition should be shortly. I'll wait for the last Stacking games to finish before determining and announcing those results, and I'll wade through the Passing game logs later, but for now, I can say:
First, congratulations to Triple 6, of the Standard tier, who swept the bots in 2 out of 3 games without losing the third to win the Sweeping Competition!!
Congratulations also to Gamefreakguy, who also swept the bots in 2 out of 3 games (but lost the third) to take top spot in the Legends tier, and to badmoon, who won a sweepless Junior tier by not losing any games!!
Each player will receive a General Achievement medal for winning their respective tier, and Triple 6 will also receive 500 Conquer Credits for winning the overall event!!
Secondly, congratulations to cwinslow22, of the Standard tier, who achieved his objective in 2 out of 3 games in a total of 14 rounds to win the Objective Competition!!
Congratulations also to rubilion, who took top spot in the Legends tier (by default), and to Kragomac, who also achieved his objective in 2 out of 3 games to take top spot in the Junior tier!!
Each player will receive a General Achievement medal for winning their respective tier, and cwinslow22 will also receive 500 Conquer Credits for winning the overall event!!

Re: The Tournament Players Association - Year 5
First, congratulations to stealth99, of the Standard tier, whose stacks, troops due, and autodeploy bonuses totaled an incredible 32,482 troops, winning him the Stacking Competition!!
Congratulations also to maglore, whose stacks, troops due, and autodeploy bonuses totaled 644 troops, giving him the top spot in the Junior tier, and to lilice, who won the Legends tier (albeit by default)!!
Each player will receive a General Achievement medal for winning their respective tier, and stealth99 will also receive 500 Conquer Credits for winning the overall event!!
Secondly, congratulations to drwar, of the Standard tier, and Captn B, of the Junior tier, who achieved their objective in all 3 of their games, moving 184 troops across 103 territorites in 23 rounds to share the Passing Competition title!!
(I couldn't think of any other fair tiebreakers
)
Congratulations also to Loose Canon, who took top spot in the Legends tier (albeit by default)!!
Each player will receive a General Achievement medal for winning their respective tier, and drwar and Captn B will each receive 500 Conquer Credits for winning the overall event!!
Now that all 5 competitions have completed, the additional GA Medal will be awarded to Federation Internationale de Ski, a tournament organized by [player]Silly Knig-it[/player]!!
The criteria for this new GA Medal will be announced here and in the tourney thread as soon as the TO makes it known.
With that, the TPA5 All-Star Skills Competition is now fully complete!! Congratulations to our winners, and many thanks to all who participated!! I hope you all had fun!

As tournaments finish - and I have time to put them in. There are a couple of tourneys that just finished, but it's long past bedtime for me, so I'll get to them tomorrow night.

No - there are at least 2 tournaments I believe finished a while ago - scores to be updated in the master list.

Is that so? I'll have to check on that. My apologies - RL has been very busy for me this last little while, but I should be able to find some time tonight to get everything squared away.

Re: The Tournament Players Association - Year 5
I have finally found the time to tabulate the scores from Batch 2 of the TPA5 All-Star Main Event.
TX AG 90 has shot into the lead with 20 of a possible 27 points!!
However, he would be well advised not to rest on his laurels, because each player can obtain up to 21 points in Batch 3 alone!
Batch 3 games have now been made.

Re: The Tournament Players Association - Year 5
Batch 3 of the Main All-Star Event is now complete.
At the halfway point now, and TX AG 90's lead looks all but insurmountable - he has 39 points, while the three players closest behind him have only 28 each.
It is much closer from then on down, however - all point values between 7 and 28 are represented among players' scores, with the exception of 10 and 20.
Still plenty of points up for grabs, but is it already too late for TX AG 90 to be caught? Only time will tell.
Batch 4 games to be created soon.

The final batch of games for the TPA5 All-Star Main Event uses the Christmas map, which is currently closed.
I have asked bigWham to open the map, and will make the games as soon as he does.

Games have been created, and invites have been sent.
Soon we shall know which of our All-Stars will shine brightest and take home that year's premium!

Something's gone wrong with the hosting of the cup.
It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image.

Did you get chance to check - I think there are several tournaments that have finished now which need the master scoreboard updating.
