Sadly, he died last night, peacefully and without waking up from the coma he's fallen into the previous Friday. My wife and daughter, and the mother-in-law were present as he went, though was at the in-laws house preparing dinner.
Our travel plans, which involved much moving about separately and/or together, have now been shelved, and I'm returning to Cali with the curlette, so she can take her final exams at school. Hopefully Mrs thecurl and I can still go to Spain as planned at the end of the month to celebrate our anniversary.
So I was on my way to the airport with the Curlette when we heard that My mother had had a heart attack - She came back to Cali to do her exams, Mrs thecurl returned to Southend to help and support her Mum, and I went onto Swansea to see how my Mum was. They operated, she recovered fine. But her short-term memory which was getting pretty spotty now seems to be totally non-existent. I'm now back in Cali, and preparing for another trip to NJ tomorrow so the Curlette can go be a councellor at summer camp...
man when it rains it pours for you. Jonsey i hope that this troubled time in your life will end soon and sunshine is on the way!
well now that i have some time! Yellowstone was amazing! I saw old faithful, daisy, and Grand geyser's go off! saw some bison now don't get me wrong they are cool to see animals that close but it's fucken annoying after you see them the first time that every car has to stop!!! if there on the side of the road to take pictures... and not use the bajillian pullouts!!! and stop traffic for like hours. But the landscape is amazing!!! I also saw some bears, cubs, bull deer which i have never seen Deer the size of the horse before! also traveled to grand Tetons! the mountains are amazing. if you ever get the chance to go i would highly suggest you go.
So, several extra crises later, all seem to be at least momentarily resolved. Looks like it's still gonna be ok to take that walking holiday with mrs thecurl to celebrate our 25th.

That particular image isn't from anything in particular but parasol spirits manifesting is a common meme. It's as common as women on the internet anyways.
