Looks like his answer thus far is just because the mod says there are requirements doesn't mean there are.

Not super compelling stuff.

I suppose that's technically possible, but I'm not really convinced either way.

Unvote storrzerg

Seems fair to assume at this point that post restriction isn't likely to be anti-town day 1.

You got in one little fight and your mom got scared

And said, "You're movin' with your aunty and uncle in Bel Air"?

I don't really know what you people are talking about with post restrictions, cults & third parties, but I'll try to keep up.

Why are you assuming it's a post restriction? "Being cryptical"? "allude to theme"? "play in-character"? That's a bad post restriction, and Storr isn't being consistent with it either. Looks to me like he just enjoys the theme.

Regarding the recruitment, maybe someone can use an imperius-curse or something to recruit people? In a game this size it wouldn't surprise me and, as others pointed out, it's under #14 of the rules. Playing the mod is bad form but it's good to know what we're up against.

I had assumed that as storr was posting about students over and over it may have outed him as some faculty role, but having said that, it has not been consistent since then.

I do agree in regards to mechanic discussion as an idea of what we might be up against. Flavor wise, it would make sense that a spell is what gives a character a certain ability.

He may be Filch, the caretaker - not technically faculty, but an "adult." Filch's a Squib (meaning he can't do magic), so if Storr is Filch, he has either no power role or a very weak one. In either case, he could conceivably be town or scum, though I'd think he'd be more likely to be town.

Assumable he is Filch the caretaker. The flavour in his posts strongly points to it.

Madmitch I seriously expect you to participe this game, on the other hand it was an easy lynch last game.

Unvote in case my pre-scenario vote was counted.

I'm swamped at work early this week & will probably be pretty quiet. Please don't think I got my hands on some gillyweed and went submarining. :P

The cult of the Dursleys?!?!? LMAO, classic. What, did someone threaten to make them join or their donuts would be taken away? Oh ya, if there is no couch in the cult lounge you can forget about them too, I think standing is against the uncle's religious belief....lol. Best thing I've read in the thread so far......please continue the crazy day one antics.

The Dursleys are Muggles, ignorant of magic - and afraid of it, too. What Muggles don't understand, they fear. It would certainly be understandable for them to try to get some of the more Muggle-friendly wizards to put down their wands.

VOTE Talapus for (perhaps too readily) discounting an entirely credible possibility.
