Read the title - it says the map is on vacation - you will have to wait

Yea, but we've got our SOLs (lol) coming up. Standardized tests suck.

SOL's are easy. I'm just lazy.

Well, I've decided that I'm not on vacation. Here's the new update:

Image

Image

Things Addressed:
Small map text
Ports added to legend
Ocean routes now travel under the Uninhabitable Zone

Things Not Addressed:
Title: I really like how the title looks, and I will only change it if a majority wants me to.
Highlights in legend: For example, putting borders around Uninhabitable Zone explanation and continent bonuses just crowds up the legend.
"To Alaska" and such: Just as I am typing this, I have figured out how to make text true-vertical. I'll try that out soon.
Canadian countries: I'm still not clear on what to do with this, so I just left it how it was.

It didn't break off the US... it sank. :P

Great map, look forward to playing it, don't really have anything constructive to say etc etc.

Thanks, I'm trying to compromise between readability and the white glow. I'll see what I can do.

You could always try using an off-white colour.

I've noticed one other small problem on the small map: it is unclear whether Bermuda port connects to Western Europe or the African Peninsula because of the Western Europe label. I know that it is the African Peninsula (from the large map) but perhaps the line could be adjusted so that it goes under the Western Europe label.

However, this is an extremely minor problem and I'm glad to see this map up and running quicker than I expected :D

With all the lines it looks confusing,

and unless you do smething else it just looks like a cklassic map torn apart

i would still play it at least once

but games like siege I can't understand no less play
Veni I came
Vidi I saw
Vici I conquered
Caesar
La garde recule. Sauve qui peut! The guard retreats. Save yourself if you can!
Napolean's troops at Waterloo
Which will happen to you?

Don't exactly understand what you mean by "torn apart."

Andrew, don't you have anything better to do than wait for Wade's map to quench? Shouldn't you be going gaa-gaa over your cat or something?

Thanks, keyogi.

Everybody, there's a new poll up, so post if you don't see a combination you like or if you want another continent's bonus changed.
