Re: Guaranteed Suggestion Implementation
Impressed and happy with the direction the site and community is going and the action taken by the new administration.
Some meaningful changes.
How about introducing a diplomacy system with binding agreements?
Start small. Truce for x turns, can't attack each other for x turns. Allies for x turns, can't attack each other, can reinforce other. that kinda thing.

Re: Guaranteed Suggestion Implementation
Not on all games, mind. The art of skulduggery and politics unencumbered by petty concerns like truce and promises has to hold.
But the option to start a game with such a paradigm shift would be game changing. And introduce some interesting new developments and conversations, I would bet.

Re: Guaranteed Suggestion Implementation
Hi
When I was a member of AOC a member [player]Qyu[/player] created an online tool that we used to analyze the next clan. It was a very powerful tool that examined wins and losses and provided search results against other clans, players, maps, etc. Better than Map Rank. I feel every clan should be able to use it! Not just the powerful ACE who merged with (can't recall at the moment) to form ACE.
It was a web-based tool offsite. If I knew the url I would give it to everybody
Create that for the clan world or have Qyu provide every clan the link!

No, we had a customized map rank tool that was designed just for clan wars prep. If I knew the url I would show you. Maybe ask the leaders of ACE about it and see what they tell you.
We were able to search by map with co-members and it would provide great insight for matchups. No need to use any other toll. I can't recall the exact details of the wonder tool. Maybe ask Nicky15 or Regan from OSA, they may remember the tool and how good it was for clan war preparation.
Re: Guaranteed Suggestion Implementation
Not sure if you are still taking suggestions.
1) reveal snap shots on fog games in game log. This would make reviewing yours or other games VERY interesting. Very much like seeing hole cards on TV Poker.
This would definitely have players on the site more. Would be very interesting to be able to follow top players move by move in visual vs text form.
2) Find a way to establish common truce and non combat language every could use with confidence. If there could be some way to actually manage truces that would be interesting also. I see players that get upset with each other over this a lot.

Re: Guaranteed Suggestion Implementation
Why not make the medals useful, with each one giving the holder a special benefit that can be used in a game. Such as extra troops bonus, extra time, extra deployment, extra reinforcement etc.
Other wise we receive these medals but they don;t actually do anything, so what's the point in having them?
Cheers.

Play without fog?

Re: Guaranteed Suggestion Implementation
I suggest option to turn alphabetical highlight at start of turn to 'off'. It would prevent accidental deployments and throwing mouse across the room in rage, lol. You owe me new mouse btw. jk. I would like the option to highlight the terit that I want to HL at start of turn.

I think he means to make it able for you to go back and basically watch a turn by turn replay of a game after it is completed. From either players' perspective.

Well, I looked, found nothing useful or helpful. So I will choose not to vote. I did not see a block for abstain or none of the above.

LINK TO SURVEY
Round 2 has begun! After an alternative method of AutoLogin being used in the background, you will be able to hold longer sessions automatically! The feature has been taken off the list, and replaced with a new one.
Make it happen

I plan on runnung this by BW for Round 3, but no guarantees since its an interface change (and a useful one!)
That will conclude this round. We actually capped out on the number of votes SurveyMonkey will let me see for free, so we will instate a double link for next time. Thanks for everyone's votes and comments, an update will be posted in the nominations thread once I go through them all.
The CLEAR winner was Clan Times. Almost 80% of the votes, and more votes went toward this suggestion than double of the total amount of votes we had round 1!

I don't see anything about auto snap at the start of fog games. Surely this should be one of the top suggestions?

"Incorporate Watch this game into site" is not one of the options on your survey
