they seem to be way behind in posting.
We have ongoing games with PHNX and RET
with no daily updates on progress.
Can you stick a fork in these guys to get us up to date?????

I hate to do this because it is still early in some games, but....PHNX leads OSA 2-0 so far, and my feeling from the games that arent finished is PHNX should atleast earn a draw, but the final score could be as high as 9-3 in our favor.

Its not looking quite as optimistic now. We could maybe win 7, but its looking more like a draw.
It's 3-3 currently.

Re: Random League V - Round 9
We have no losses and Foed has 1 loss.
The scoreboard (which is being run by a FOED member) has not been updated
for a long time now. It would be proper, in terms of fair play, that the scoreboard would be updated in a timely manner (for future reference). I believe we will have no less than a tie w/PHNX and may just pull out enough wins vs PHNX to take the title. So I still dont understand how we could lose this if we have a tie....when FOED has a Loss and we have no losses =/
Would it be possible that we could see an updated scoreboard sometime today?????

Re: Random League V - Round 9
One of the games I was counting on as a win turned against us. I think the best we can do is tie now, and we will be lucky to do that I think. Looks like OSA might hang on afterall.

Read the rules
Win = 3 pts
Tie = 1 pt
So 7 wins 2 ties 0 loss is 23 pts
8 wins 0 ties 1 loss is 24 pts
That is the scenario where FOED can win without OSA losing.
At this moment FOED is 7-0-1 with final match a FAD still going.
OSA is 7-1-0 with PHNX remaining.
Fyi, we don't have a secret updated scoreboard, we looked into it ourselves independent of uckuki.

Do you really think the smart ass comment was necessary?
The scoreboard should be updated and easy to read.

Debatable... It was intended as a good natured rib.
I agree.

We are ahead at the moment 5-4..but that last win might be tough to come by.
Game 15354552 First nations americas
Game 15353283 France
The 3rd game is a definite, not happening for us.

Re: Random League V - Round 9
Yep, looks like a very strong final run from OSA here. They lined up Mark Cavendish...?
Then again, grabbing it back like that deserves some sort of minor credit i guess

Understandable,
I have been a bit frustrated with scoreboard updates in general
here at CC. I do appreciate the good nature ribbing Sir
But im am a get it done kinda guy....and sometimes may come off a bit curt
when not intending to.

looks like OSA will prevail in the end. only miracle can save us now.
ACE last year, OSA now. FOED just can't catch a break.
sorry for shoddyy updates. just to clarify - it's all OSA's fault.
they were supposed to seal it long time ago, make updates irrelevant.
they're just complicating things with ties and whatnot, instead of winning
easily.
also, sloppy bookkeeping is in alignment with benga's legacy of sloppy
bookkeeping. he specifically asked me not to get too zealous.
well, whatever happens, in the end, we can all at least agree in one thing -
OSA sucks.

We never noticed Benga not updating the Random league scoreboard previously, he would always email us ones that were 100% up to date.
I kid, I kid..

I definitely plan to continue, unless higher powers intervene.
I was thinking about making some minor changes. basically, the plan is to retire Random Cup
after the very first edition, unless there is high demand for it? should we run a poll?
the first edition already broke all the deadlines. it was supposed to finish some time in the fall
and currently we are half way through the finals. also, random league & cup does seem little
repetitive. my thinking is: indvidual clans can organize full scale random wars on their own if needed,
and we expand Random League a bit, make it more similar to Clan League in number of games
(16 instead of current 12) and rules, have a sort of standard league format. also, lighten up the schedule,
so the league goes on longer but with extended break around the new years. ideas/suggestions?

A few more clans would be nice too. It does seem to be the same old ones every time.

Re: Random League V - Round 9
I agree Keefie.......
Seems the higher ranked clans are to afraid to play this.
IMO it looks like they want to protect their ranking by only playing
Wars suited to controlling who they play. It would be great if say the top 10
clans would be required to play certain additional events ( like this Random League )
to make them more involved in Wars that they wouldn't normally seek out. I may be wrong in
my assessment, but requiring the top 10 Clan to be more active with the rest of the lower ranked clans would IMO be good for a Fair and Competitive leader-board. Having been around CC the last few years I tend to see top teams mainly playing Wars that benefit them for higher ranking points. Just my honest opinion here and I should point out that we at OSA
have and will play pretty much any and all comers (obv time dependent)
