Stop doing that. You're making me hungry. The last place that made Scotch eggs went out of business two years ago. (Shame really, it was a nice English Pub named "Canterbury Ales.")

I think the answer to that is quite clear.

Highland Place in Maplewood used to do a great Scotch Egg. But they closed when i moved out of the town. I'm not sure if there was a connection between the two events.
They also did a great Cornish Pasty.

The proper term is "Native American" eggs.

I still don't get how Scotland took over either Native Americans or Natives of the Indian Subcontinent.

The NORTH will rise again!
The thing about that is the few counties that were attempting this were really doomed to fail, and everyone here in CO,and Wyoming as well I bet, knew full well it would never happen. Scotland actually had a chance.
Edit: Actually im curious here, what was the general feeling in Wyoming?

Independence is bad. Mmmkay.

It was more about becoming the 51st state or joining Wyoming. Not actual independence.
"Eh, whatever."

Emphasis on "British"

Let's look on the Viceroy / Governor General for this period and this area.
Charles John Canning (1856-1862) was born in London
James Bruce (1862-1863) also born in London
Robert Napier (1863) definitely an exception as he was born in Ceylon
William Thomas Denison (1863-1864) born in London
John Laird Mair Lawrence (1864-1869) came from North Yorkshire
Richard Southwell Bourke (1869-1872) came from Dublin, Ireland (another exception)
Francis Napier (1872) Selkirkshire Scotland - we finally find one and he serves as acting viceroy for 3 months =D>

In any event, we can clearly see it was the English, not the Scots who were in charge of taking over India.

The English used the Scots as their enforcers.

The English also used German mercenaries in order to enforce their will on the American Colonies.

But we don't think of how Germany enforced its will upon the American Colonies.

Scotland can't help that the "Ladies from Hell" are the best damn troops Great Britain ever had.

So as the majority of the viceroys were from London, can we say that Londoners, not the rest of England/Scotland, were in charge of taking over India? ;-) Scotland and England are both part of Britain, when considering the British Empire therefore, both England and Scotland share that history.

Actually, it's much simpler. It's Queen Victoria for the win!
